what heads do you have on it? sounds kinda boxy, might just be the camera though, I will be picking one of these up soon. Right now I have a Dios St - the aspen and bubinga kit, and it sounds sweet. This is something I definetly must have.
Oh that is cool man. I have owned a couple Ddrum kits now. Dominion maple and a Dorian ash. Great kits. The Diodes are sweet. the newer Diatons are awesome too. Have fun with that kit.

mycrimsonregrets 2 years ago 2
if i were you, i would get a wood kit. you have nice skills. and a wood kit would serve you better

dont know if its the camera mic or just the actual kit but it sounds real tinny to me, not my thing, but wicked skills man, supple wrists!!

i think its more the skins, cause i hav played on an acrillic kit with evans g2s on it and it sounded way different 2 this, extremely warm

Cool but your drums are to far apart and your to far from the drums. 5/5
ddrum121 2 years ago 2
Yeah I definately wouldn't set 'em up like that - but different strokes for different folks... (no pun intended)

The camera does no justice for sound. Buy em for $1,500 I can ship also.

I have been wondering... if regular sets are better than acrylic sets or are they the same?
Sevramos 3 years ago
They are definitely louder that's for sure. It is weird getting used to this set up with such big drums & positioning them.
