thank you for posting this because it at least let me know that the changed numbers and flashing light were some sort of error code. I unplugged mine as you did and it reset. We just closed escrow last week so I have no idea why it did that or what caused it. Hoping ours doesn't do it again any time soon. Started flashing on New Year's Eve but I will be watching it closely now. Thanks again
