I'm going to replace passenger side gasket on my 96 4-runner 3.4 this weekend.
Truck has been well maintained like yours but has 187 thousand miles so seeing yours at 357 makes me feel pretty darn good I wont be letting mine go anytime soon lots of life left.
Thanks for taking the time to post - I'm going to tackle this job once I get parts in hand. My Tacoma has 214K on the clock - original everything. Probably one of the best vehicles I have EVER owned.
@StapleGun357 I made a stupid decision and sold this 4runner. I gave practically nothing for it, and the truck was in great shape and ran perfect! Can't beat the old 3.4 engines, run forever.
just bought a t100 wit 315k. needs timing belt, valve cover gaskets, n cat but other than that runs awesome. a little rust, not bad for the year, but that body style is timeless. glad to see someone else out there wit as many and more miles and still running good. planning on getting 100k more. great vid
@totalTQ - its not that much miles on it, I knew someone who has a tacoma V6 with 450k kilometers and my 1997 4runner V6 has 316k kilometers, they're made to last just treat them with TLC. Change oil every 3k kilometers religiously and don't drive like you own the road and you'll be good for another 300k or more.. cheers

@TotalTQ Yea, I did clean the runnners and all the intake ports the best I could. It amazes me how well this truck runs and especially for the miles. Its a Toyota, but lately all the newer Toyotas lack quality and design. The newer Toyotas are butt ugly, especially the 5th gen 4runner. These 3rd gen 4runners are the best 4runners hands down. If you were to look at this truck in person, the truck is in excellent condition and doesn't even look like it has this many miles on it.
Thanks for posting up video.

1998 tacoma planning to replace valve cover gaskets. Haynes manual shows silicone to be applied, your thoughts ? Is silicone not required?
