Musica che ricorda l'armonia tra la Terra e gli essri umani, come queella dei Nativi Americani e la natura, Armonia DISTRUTTA E CALPESTATATA dai discepoli di Cristoforo Colombo.
When I listen to this music, time seems to stand still ... it helps me to live in the present moment. What beautiful people the First Nations people are, true respect for the earth and other life.
I'v always been fascinated by the First Nation Red Indian Culture, and having been up to Sauble beach recently I learned a lot about the culture, and totally love the music, and we also found out that my husband is part Red Indian, and we have a Timber Wolf as a pet, His favorite animal in the world is a wolf, I think I'm embracing the fascination more than he is:)
This song is not native American but from the Sami people in Scandinavia and neighbouring areas. The song was ripped off from a Dutch TV program and passed off as native American which it certainly isn't.
@YorksTradMusic Thank you for that information. I practice a European form of shamanism ( yes some did survive) and would like to know where I may find more information and more of this great music from the Sami people ....
@YorksTradMusic uhmm good observation but you gotta admit it does sound pretty good and the money is going to the native tribes and reservations so all is good peace
@YorksTradMusic According to music researchers, joik is one of the longest living music traditions in Europe, and is the folk music of the Sami people. Its sound is comparable to the traditional chanting of some Native American cultures.
