I don't usually comment on expert village videos; why give them the satisfaction of my opinion!?! I have to say, though, this is one of the WORST e.v. videos I have ever seen. You would be better off learning drums from sesame street's "Animal" than to pay for lessons from this wannabe drum teacher.
watch his head movements the first 15 seconds hes clearly bollocksed, with his cockney "awright" and haaaand and then surreptitiously rubbing last nights coke off his nose and shouting out random numbers at random intervals
I thought all these expert village videos were like...Will Ferrell movies or sumthin..lolx they all make me laugh..but now I know that they're serious
I have reached the conclusion that "expert village" is either a school of comedy or a government plot to ruin the cultural heritage of every other country.
It's almost like expert village grabbed students who "barely" learned lesson 1 of a beginners book, and got them to perform in these "how-to" series.
I can understand if it's a seasoned drummer "breaking it down" for the layman, but you get the vibe that these so-called "experts" are not breaking it down, because they barely understand it themselves. It sounds forced.
Expert village, I'm sorry. Terrible drum videos. All of them. Terrible.
Hey! i'm from Argentina, and that's not bossanova, the bossanova has a little thing called BALANÇO...wich is that the rythm should be played with a slow intention but with the tempo you like, and it's not 1,2,3,4...all the brazilian rythms are in 2/4 because the accent and the groove are in the 2 stroke.
goddamn, you think expert village would hire some EXPERT CAMERA AND SOUND MEN!!! Jesus, every drum video's sound quality blows, the sound clips till no end!!!!!!!!!
definitly no bossa nova
