most - glorious - memorable scene to me was: gillian anderson sticks that dude the rifle into his ass (without vaseline) and then fuckin him with the rifle.

and now a funny scene: gillian anderson drives the car, gillian anderson stops the car, gillian anderson says: "i need to piss", gillian anderson gets outta the car, gillian anderson squats down and pisses.

I agree that Gillian Anderson's performance was impecable as ever and believable, however the movie itself was a little...well lacking in dialog, developed plot etc. But, Gillian Anderson's performance was impecable as ever which completely makes it watchable..once.

Yeah, I agree....its probably because the movie was so short (77 minutes) that they didn't have much time to develop the backstory any. But, Gillian's acting was AMAZING! I can't, for the life of me, see why she hasn't had more starring roles in dramas/thrillers like this.

Although, I was a bit disappointed with ONE aspect of the movie - she never actually killed anyone! All she did was butt-rape the rapist guy with her assault rifle. She should have pulled the trigger!

You missed the point of the ending. She longs so much for revenge, yet when she actually rapes the man she discovers that nothing, not even that or murder will satisfy her. Hence her frustrated scream during the scene. On the contrary Adam gets excited by violence and asks for more - and loses his mind. If a message is to be found is really that eye for an eye doesn't work.

Naah, I really do understand the ending - I just really think the guy deserved it!

I think what I was really disappointed about was the lack of closure to the movie - I mean, it ended ok, but I kind of wanted to know what happened after everything went down. What happened to the daughter, did Alice just go back to her normal life, and what happened to Adam (from what we can see, he's guilty of 2 murders and since Heffer quite possibly died from his injuries, maybe 3). Did he get caught?
