It's the fact that the voices aren't distorted in this version that makes it so odd in the Baten Kaitos Sequel. The distorted vocals in the first one make the song awesome, and now that you can understand(?) what the vocalists are saying and it is just... kinda silly to me.

In a game that threw piece after piece of music with a classical feel, a stylish song like this only becomes accentuated. It's SO damn out of place but it's okay because it ****ing rocks.

I Like both of them, I think they're equal, The old one fits the slower paced battle system, while this one complements the faster up-beat battle system. Thats just my opinion tho....

This one is good from about 1:00-1:25 especially because you can feel the music shaking you to your soul, if you are as avid as i am of an enthusiast, and the female voice adds a nice touch. This one is different from the first one because of the voices, both are nice though. The first one is more serious, this one is more intense
