@Brinxy1042 Yes, I know that. However, in this case the forward flank was bent over to the SE. This storm was doing some weird stuff, so you have to understand that every storm is unique... I'm glad you like the footage, as most importantly there were no serious injuries or deaths!
@majesticgent It was rated an EF-3 by the NWS... I have been told a couple cars were knocked over into ditches, but thankfully no one was seriously injured or killed!
@BigDH28 Thank you so much for the kind words! It was one crazy/intense storm chase! I'm pretty sure everyone was ok for the most part. Thankfully, I haven't heard of any deaths/serious injuries in De Kalb/Scooba, MS...
@jroof2666 Thank you very much for the kind words! I'm pretty sure everyone was ok! Miracle! This could have been a lot worse, and I'm just so glad didn't see cars flying in the air!
@AJTwister97 Thanks man! I was using two cameras at once... It really does sound like a waterfall, and more like a jet engine when it gets really close!
Man... I have no words. Were the people down the road okay? Amazing footage and great job, but that is quickly overshadowed by the horrific scenes unfolding. Glad you're all safe.
@BassLaunch First, thank you for the kind words/support! It's really tough in these situations. Of course I was excited to see a tornado, but at the same time I was hurting for the people in the path. We tried to go back and help, but everything was blocked off. I'm about to post video from De Kalb, MS where this tornado first started. There we were able to help a lot more people seek shelter and also even got a school bus full of kids to turn around away from the tornado! Crazy stuff!
fantastic footage! stay safe out there!

Great footage, and if you're in the rain you're usuualy not okay. The rain is usualy before the updraft and wall cloud.

Incredible footage. "Dude I think that's the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life...besides Charley." Classic quote!

@TyphoonHunter LOL! Thanks James! This was a crazy/intense experience, but not on the level of Hurricane Charley... That's going to be hard to top!
