Can someone please pray for me. I'm a Christian struggling with strong thoughts of taking my life soon. I'm in such pain from physical problems and emmotional problems of deep depression. I remember as a child and I would do something wrong and I would have to be disciplined or punished. The wrong was judged, I paid a price and then I was reconciled again back to my parents. Those who deny their need for a savior, what are you going to do with the wrong in your life. Like a child, those things have to be judged. If you take them to your grave, you will face God as your judge. If you confess them and get right with Christ, you will face Him and be forgiven.

Before answering this question, We have to start first at the root cause because there would still be confusion if we won't. The root cause is the "LAW". The first time I heard this song (1982 I think) was in a Continental Singer's show. I didn't know at the time that David was its author. I already owned an older album of him ("Everybody Needs A Little Help") and loved his songs and style. Now, after all these years I have all of his albums on CD and this song is still one of my favorites. Thanks for posting this video! God bless you.

I saw David Meece live in Australia I think three separate times, now some many years ago, but have not forgotten his songs and his ministry. This song has aged well and the message still sounds out loud and clear - We were the reason that Jesus died. He died for us and now we should trust in him.

Thanks for the video, it brings back a lot of memories - good and sad memories.
