My favorite network used to be cartoon network but its lost a lot of its good programming. They even got rid of toonami! Agreed. Beast Wars wasn't just a 1/2 hour toy advertisement the same way a lot of the other series have been. It had substance: story with plot and dramatic structure, characters which evolved and were more than one-dimensional, and a plethora of classical literary and multicultural references.
