University of Oregon Marching Band - 2010 Pasadena Rose Parade

ok, not really looking for a fight, but i watched the video of the ohio state marching band posted by the same guy and osu blew them out of the water. could of just been this part of the parade but wow, lines sucked and only played a boring cadence

The Oregonians would probably say the same thing if the band from Stanford University were to march in the Portand Rose Parade in June.

Nike is a generous supporter. They make sportswear, not band uniforms.

ok so if Nike is their sponsor, couldnt they afford marching uniforms? I completely agree with all of you. These track suits are a joke. Let the guard wear them, its better for running around and dancing in. Use them for home games and things around campus, but be respectful of your school and have a uniform.

@daviskrisitna That is our uniform. Get used to it. We're not a "traditional" band. We are called an athletic band for a reason. Besides, since when does Nike make military outfits? I know these outfits aren't the most visually appealing, but they're comfortable as hell. I'd wear this over the traditional outfits ANY DAY

How could any self-respecting marching band wear and perform in a uniform like that? Especially when you're being measured up against Ohio State's band, which has arguably wears of the most traditional and old-school uniforms in the country?

U of O alumni should be writing their university demanding that the marching band NEVER see those workout suits ever again!!

@reconeix I couldn't agree more. I was shocked to see them on TV wearing sweats. Most disgraceful for the Rose Parade.

who are those people shuffling in sweat pants? previous rose bowl bands marched (high or modified high step) in uniforms.
