If USA attacked any serious country, forget about Russian (which it can clearly cannot beat, it will rather lose) but say France, US will see all its carriers evaporate under tactical nuclear missiles attacks. A tactical nuclear weapon is a small nuclear weapon made out for clearing bases ships etc.

Their fire control is integrated to protect the carrier from incoming missiles. That's also par of why the F-14s phoenix missile had a 100 mile range.

You have over 1000 STRATEGIC warheads, not tactical. And you need preguided coordinates to launch an ICBM which is useless against a carrier. In short, get real.
