Everyone all up on eminems cock & don't know fuck all about these classicks of way back.. Lets all join forces & school these poor brain washed up & coming b-boys/gals
@pace1one08 So you're saying lets not school these lost souls? You ask all these young kids what's rap? Their answer is Eminem - jay z, biggie or 2pac. Pretty sad if you ask me.
@myaccountsdisabled i already tryed to do some schooling of my own but these dumb pricks are determined not to listen and keep listening to garbage like kendrick lamer etc
@pace1one08 I see :-) At least you tried. I've kind of managed to succeed with one or two but weather they keep it up i'll never know. Have a great new year.
Played this to death 'Back-In-The-Day', Uk Rap was kickin' it large back then. This was ahead of the game when it was released, still sounds great today. Where are these guys now ? Fcukin' heroes, quality track. The re-mix was spot-on too. I've lost the cassette 20 years ago, if anyone has the re-mix, could they post it on here.
They are still about. K-Sly is on Facebook, Supreme lives in Switzerland and the other HQ guys have put out mixtapes. Don't know about Undercover tho.
Yeah, there was a point when we used to do that, since the Hip Hop was from America, just like you guys would chat in patois when doing reggae influenced tracks, like Grand Puba or KRS.
We soon put a stop to it once finding our own identity within the music.
@PrAnG2000 im not american man, im a uk mc, and i really like this stuff i also like the accent i think if it sounds good do it so what if it hasa twang musics all about a nice sound..
"Suckers sell out so I stand aside, another brother's greed overtakes his pride"...just look at the current state of Hip Hop today and u see how true this is! Prophets...
stlyewars, hold no hostage, doomsday of rap have the hardest beats raps&scratches in hiphop history...these trax are " EVERGREENS "......stylewars made me start scratchin` and producing...thanx 4 that.....I will never 4get where I`m coming from.......D.J.Uppacut (Readykill)
this is one my all time fav rap tracks... when they played this on Uni radio station down here in NZ Auckland every rap fan talked about it .. it took us awhile to learn who the group was.. but eah all time classic
Luvin the oldschool hiphop from back in the days. I used to be a complete hip hopper - even dressed in XXL baggy pants and huge Kangol shirts n' stuff :D I am size xs if i am dressing non-hiphoppish :D:D:D And that's the size i buy nowdays :D But the ol' trax are still just as great!
as hard and profound as Hijack undisputably went, if you read back your comment in the pale light of day, i'm sure you'll agree it was entirely errant.
and i don't think we need to really draw for any names either do we ?
Oh don't get me wrong...I love this tune. But I think I read something about DJ Surpreme saying it.....I will look it up if I can find the interview again!
