This is a "cheat". The annotation also (only) says that it "seems" to cut through. Actually, the cheat is that I painted the back faces (that are "inside" the wall thickness) transparent. So the problem now is that "from inside the room" these windows are not "see through" (but that cannot be seen in the video as I did not orbit there).
Man, I also wish I had an easy solution for a window to cut through thick walls!
how do you make the component to go trough the wall thickness?

Wow... all window components I've tried so far fail to cut through the wall thickness. You could sell these!
