sure it is, it isnt "shocking" anymore, ideals changed into an "uniform attitude". real punk music still exist, but the mainstream think "punk" is the label stuff like blink-182 or something. Originallity is dead too, the DIY scene fell into buying the stuff from the mall. Modern Street Punks are only fashion junkies with mohawks nothing ideologic behind it, there are straight edge out there but they turn everything like a rulebook, wanna be military, "this is punk, this not"
