@Sexpistols100 Mate you can't say anything, most punk bands are terrible musicians, and have no idea what they're playing, whereas it takes alot of work to make these sampled looped and manually recorded tunes. Think how long it's taken them to collect the samples quantize them, alter their pitch, cut and chop them, and place them at various intervals.

@ThroneOfDemise Ha yeah, I'm sure it took the artist of this a considerable amount of time and effort to create this... song. Just as I'm sure it takes a person a considerable amount of time and effort to forge a painting or sculpture. If we placed the effort taken to create the song above the actual quality and originality of the song, then we wouldn't have most of the music we do now.

@Sexpistols100 I laugh at ignorant twats like you i really do, i listen to punk quite alot, you know bands like Conflict, The Exploited, G.B.H, Sex Pistols,etc. I am also aware of how punk is responsible for a fair few genres. But not all electronic music is talentless. I agree alot of people make utter shite using basic loops, but properly done the use of loops can become an art form as your not suppose to just line em up and press play.

@ThroneOfDemise With loops you are supposed to effect them, chop them up to rearrange the music/beat or sample the instruments and use those samples as a basis for scuplting your own synthesised sounds or drum kits. Also electronic music uses MIDI files and Manually recorded synths, in combination with loops. Trust me there is more depth to making decent electronic music than you think.

BTW respect your roots at least "Showaddywaddy" knew what they were playing :).

@Sexpistols100 mate you havn't grown up at all, and I can play bass, guitar, death vocals, punk vocals and play piano. As well as sequence notes and i am learning to use decks during the next few weeks. Your obviously not aware that I am a college student on a music course, fair enough your not psychic but mate get the fuck out of your box. When you can actually use decks properly and make a smash hit tune made solely with loops, then you can say its talentless.

@ThroneOfDemise Oh and the people that know the tunes are everybody who listens to pendulum, hadouken, magnetic man, rusko, the prodigy, caspa, infected mushroom, dj tiesto, etc. From dubstep to trance, loops are used in combination with midi sequencing and analog synthesisers, most of the times these loops are there to compliment the music rather than make up a main part of the song, unless obviously it be a vocal hook.

It's not a massive deal,as you say it's just a simple loop & sample but used in conjunction with other records can get a dancefloor moving & people smiling..It's not pretending to be anything it's not,just an old underground house track to nod along to before you/the DJ move on to the next moment...
