Fhalei arranged the accident so she could have Hiroko. Kanata intervened and managed to partially save him (splitting Hiroko into Hiroko(Soul) and Hiroko(body). The bit where Hiroko(soul) possessed Kanata and fought with Fhalei when she possessed Hiroko(body) really messed with me! By the end of it Fhalei sacrifices herself to merge Hiroko(soul) with Hiroko(body) again with the help of Kanata's homo-rainbow power
