  • who sings this song sounds familiar??

  • OMG this is my favorite movie since I was a kid, thx for upload this, I'm so happy ;____;

  • ANY MOVIE WITH A DRAGON IS REALLY COOL.

  • This film introduced me to lucid dreaming, not inception :)

  • this movie brings me so many memories of my childhood :)

  • chrildren these days are so immature because movies like this dont exist in there generation. my favorit childhood movie

  • Would love to visit that library and stand before all them ceiling illustrations :')

  • :,(

My favorite movie. I used to rent this on VCR all the time when we used to go to our grocery store.

  • @Catandpotatosoup, you got videos at the grocery store?...ok, i've heard of weirder things.

  • @harlanmiller Well, yeah. Our grocery store had a built in movie store. :)

  • @harlanmiller It was a really common thing. My local grocery stores all carried videos until about three years ago, around when video rental stores started closing en masse. I'm guessing Redbox and the like just took all the business away from more traditional video sources.

  • omg i totally forgot this movie but i can remember some fragments of it

    :o

  • I watched this again yesterday and I cried when this song played. Childhood movies are the most meaningful in my life. :')

  • well done

  • I cried. I miss the 90s. I wish there was a way to go back in time. I missed the Atmosphere, feeling and everything. But now im stuck with all this bullcrap that aren't quite lovely to be cope with.

  • Your childhood is not complete if you haven't watched this...brings back some memories :'( #goodtimes....thumps up if you agree

  • I love Christopher Lloyd - a fantastic actor

  • we were the lucky ones to have movies like this that made our childhood memrable

  • Disney.. My guilty pleasure..

  • @jumpingmap Except it's not Disney xD

  • Brings tears. =) happy reminiscing guys =)

  • who is this song by?

  • @Scarlett0Black wendy moten

  • is a badass

  • @rockyutube1 lol that's actually true. have you heard her song "when you love someone"? her singing in that song was so powerful!

  • I get a real kick out of the fact that the composers of this song are the same people who composed "Somewhere Out There". It's a good song, but personally, I think it would have been more appropriate to have put it in the end credits, like many other movies.

  • I love this movie. it's just an amazing movie. I also love this song. There shouldn't be an age limit to some movies. some movies are timeless, and when you watch movies like this one, it takes you back to a happier time.

  • brings tears in my eyes

Just finished watching it and I have never felt so nostalgic in all my life, what a film! It has such a great moral to tell, heres to new friendships and overcoming your fears! :)

  • One of my favourite films ever :) It's so seriously underrated!

  • I was so jealous of that tyler kid when I was little....I wanted to explore books....except for Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde that was fucking scary

  • @LittleMsMadness no doubt bro, when i saw the pirate scene i wanted to be right there on the boat as a pirate..

  • I AM WEEPING.

  • The 4 people who dislike, forgot what it's like to be a kid.

  • my daughter is two and she watched The Pagemaster for the 1st time the other day. It is now a movie she has to watch before bed and she has to come to the computer and watch this video. PRICELESS

  • This was my favorite movie throughout my childhood...I love books because of it!!

  • @naynay7387 there's something Ironic about loving Books because of a movie... but it's true. It brought the magic of books to life and showed kids how to use your imagination.

  • @naynay7387 I belive every one who was a child at the 90s loved this movie :)

  • @naynay7387 I watched it a couple of days ago. I don't understand why critics dismissed this film. It's one of the only animated movies I can think of that blatantly advertises reading CLASSIC literature.

  • @MmkayDesiree Wendy Moten

  • @naynay7387 THANK YOU! :D <3

  • who sings this song?!

  • this film still gives me goosebumps

  • this film still gives me goosebumps

  • One of the best fantasy films of all time. :)

  • 90's movies were the shit.

  • best part is at the end when he makes the jump off the ramp, on his bike.

  • It's been years since I've seen this movie and I still remember the lyrics of this song <3

  • this fucking song was my childhood

  • I just watched this movie last night. I couldn't stop smiling. And 7 people don't read much..

  • sick ass movie. i loved this song when i was 7. i'm 18 now and all i listen to is metal and punk and i mean real metal and real punk like the adicts or cradle of filth and i still love this song as much as i did then x)

  • This was my favorite movie growing up. I have missed it so much. Thanks for uploading this.

  • It's such a shame that this movie isn't widely known. It's a good movie, and it teaches people that they may be braver than they think.

Great video! I especially like the last shot of Mr. Dewey, the Librarian/Pagemaster.

  • @Littlemissmazda i thought no one knew the pagemasters real name lol i noticed his name last time i seen it. i have it on dvd x)

  • @BoneDaddy216 I don't think it's ever mentioned in the movie - I only know it because I've read the book.

  • @Littlemissmazda the scene when richard first goes into the library and mr dewey walks up to him it shows his name on the desk. i never read the book that came out :o

  • *sigh* this movie brings back SO many memories.

  • 3 people missed the like button

  • I LOVE this song so much ^^ I hate how you can't download it on iTunes =/

  • Three people never had their childhood.

  • Favorite childhood movie of all time. This movie always makes me want to keep being a kid at heart. The world looks so much better from that perspective. The Pagemaster keeps that inner kid alive.

  • @Jurk5000 - Pretty much agree. The great thing is is trying to see through kid's eyes and having a mature heart/personality about it. That is the key :) Not to act like a kid (or at least immature) but to see the world as you did long ago. I can see how I took this movie to heart as a kid and saw so much more and was just carefree. Kind of random but I also see a moral in this movie about being able to read and taken to their worlds. Awesome stuff. Not something that a lot of shows have today.

  • I hate whenever I watch this movie people ask, "Why are you watching this movie? How old are you?" There is never an age limit on the things that have made your childhood special o matter how old you get

  • @ChiTownWarrior1 i get that same reaction when i watch power rangers and wwe

  • just look back on that childhood. :3

  • The cgi will never live up to today's work. The animation will never live up to today's work and yet, that's what made it such a classic. Movie of my childhood :)

  • i watched this as a kid almost every day through my childhood. that's the memories i cherish and the movies i adored. these days kids watch tv shows that i would not even WANTED to see as a child. the thought of it getting worse in the next generation scares me.

  • she sound so much like whitney houston!

  • Such a beautiful song, taught me to never give up on my dream and to push yourself to your limits! Love this film to bits, Thankyou Pagemaster, for helping me get through childhood!!

  • Shame...all the smart ones have their minds in the gutter...

  • i smoked copious amoutns of drugs before watching this, and it rules dude

  • In a world of imagination, everything is possible

  • Fuck Nostalgia Critic, his Kickassia movie sucked balls, and he says this movie sucked? I used to love this when they aired it on TV when I was younger.

  • 3 people have no imagination

  • Magical movie ......

  • i love this movie so m,uch and this video is so awsome great job ;)

  • this movie gets so much shit online, I really love this movie its awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow, looks like 3 people couldn't reach the Exit, lol.

  • ahh this brings back memories :')

  • why would 3 pple would dislike this beautiful song and especially the MOVIE..........

  • in my english class were watching this it's so beutiful

  • i whatched this movie for the first time in litterly 10 years and still knowing what was gonna hapen i cried

  • Nostegia just kicked my fucking teeth out and hammered them back in my skull. holy shit I loved this film.

  • I don't see why this got such terrible reviews, it was well animated, an interesting story, a good lesson and morals, I thought it was really and even looking back as an adult, it's still a beast movie and somethng like this is what we need if we really want children to be into books or family or, y'know important things, unlike other movies stories telling us true love(which translates to sex)is the most important thing and to give into whatever the media tells us to. *goes to rewatch film*

  • @Arc13 "genius is never understood in his own time"....movies aren't either

  • Definately going to be doing a cover of this song. For all those people that knew and loved the pagemaster and the 90s!

  • Yo I had this song in my head for the LOOOONNNGEEEST...Great Video, thanx! R.I.P the 90's!!!=(

  • Who sung this song on the soundtrack? what is her name?

  • @leonardashe Wendy Morton.

  • Oh, I miss this song too. (sky tries not to cry)

  • childhood memories *snif* *snif*

  • sadly, 3 ppl dont use there imaginations or read books. books are awesome and give u best knowledge :)

  • You took quite a step young man!

  • I LOVED WHEN MOVIES IN THE 90s had these songs in their soundtracks! There was always just one song that summed up the movie quite well! Sadly, the only film in this generation to put a song like those inspirational ones like this and other disney movies was Avatar..."I see you"

  • @Dank951 well there was also chronicals of narnia: Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Those had really good songs to.

  • awwww this makes my heart ache!

i remember watching this a hundred times when i was 7!

  • It suits the movie so well, (: Kids today, will never understand how much they miss out on.

  • I guess this was when mcaullay culken started doing drugs

  • i forgot what the name of this movie was!!! until i came acrost the utube search.. i liked this movie:( i miss all those movies:((( i wanna cry.....

  • This is a beautifully made montage. Well done.

  • Aw I used to watch this all the time as a kid :D love this song.

  • You see thats just what can happen, if you look inside your mind!

  • what ever happoned to good quality music is what my question is: now bieber and the other newbies are carving deep irreplacible scars into music that it really isnt funny at all. i'm glad i grew up when kids film's and pop music mixed quite well.now they're worlds apart and keep getting crappier with each year.

  • this made me nostalgia so hard and i haven't seen this movie since i don't even know when.

  • this made my eyes water, I loved this movie so much.

  • at 2:42 can someone explain to me why they made horrors face look so different when he looks through the bottle? whose face is that? o.o

  • hearing this song makes me miss being a kid, i'm 23 now, getting older sucks

  • @nobodysperfect06 I just turned 24 and I feel you

  • exactly, I always think or miss my childhood whenever life, reality gets me down, is cruel to me and tortures me, hey, we all know that life is not fair, and when we were younger it seemed as if life was fair, we didn't have to worry about girls and dating, rejection, responsibilities, working, overall, just life

  • @nobodysperfect06 same!! I'm 22 and it makes me so nostalgic!

  • @nobodysperfect06 Tell me about it.

  • @nobodysperfect06 I agree. I wish we could have a time machine to go back to those days!!

  • @nobodysperfect06 Same here. I'm turning 25 in October and I wanna be a kid again.

  • @nobodysperfect06 same here im 23 and remember all the movies like this and miss being a kid back then things were so much easier

  • @nobodysperfect06 Don't forget Gargoyles ;)

  • my bad, that one as well too, Goof Troop, Talespin, Bonkers, Life with Louie, Beast Wars, Batman the animated series, Superman the animated series

  • I Love the Movie

  • @datsky01 I have both of these on a video tape from ages ago! LOVE Balto "Oh the shame of the polar bears who fear the water, woe is us! It's what he said, kind of pathetic really"

  • very nice..

  • THERE IT IS THE EXIT!!!!!!

  • I just watched this movie last week with a bunch of my friends at this one chick's house. Her mom couldn't believe a bunch of college students would want to watch this movie out of their entire collection.

  • I was trying to think of this song the other day and what movie it came from, and I'm so glad that I found the Pagemaster movie again. I remember watching it on Cartoon Network a few years ago and loved that movie and this song. :D Thanks for putting this up.
