  • Sittin' in my romm at the midnight and listenin' to Eluveitie. School tommorow, but I don't care as long as I can listen to such great band ;)

  • 0:008 platos que pican?

  • @danypk2raa ja ja ja

  • 4:50 ....

  • The lyrics, please! >_<

  • I want to learn Gaulish. :| Such a beautiful language.

  • @magzerz16 400 words or so. :), As long as you can pronounce ch, sh, sch and other European sounds, you'll be able to. :D, Good luck!

  • @GoglProductions I have the same wish, the problem is,there are no online lessons, and where i live, the only dead language you can learn is latin.

  • @MikyWrita With Gaulish being extinct from the 6th century, not many people are able to teach it. I only wish I could learn it too. Maybe Eluveitie could do a few videos and teach their fans. :D, then every fan could go around and sing it and teach others. We could ignite the language again. Take a look at Hebrew (my first language), a language so sacred it was considered dead and only to the Bible. Now SEVEN million people speak its new form. :)

  • @MikyWrita Latin isn't a dead language.

  • @AmeretzuAmamore Well dunno,i only know about it being used in medicine?Where is it used, other than that?Seriously i have no idea XD

  • @AmeretzuAmamore I'm actually a linguist, so I see comments like this and feel an irresistible urge to comment. Latin is indeed a dead language. "Dead" being defined as any language which has no native speakers. We know, more or less, what Latin sounded like in terms of phonology, but no real knowledge of its prosodic features. Being as much, Latin is about as dead as it gets. This is not intended as a flame post, by the way. :) Keep rocking to good music.

  • @igashijin Yeah, I actually realized my mistake when a friend told me a day after I wrote that comment. Though Latin, she told me might still be spoken in Church.

  • the ending made me shiver...

  • can anyone translate this song??

  • @DamuEmran its serbian=) but no i cant translate

  • @TheMartinwh

Serbian? I think they're singing in Gaulish ;)

  • @Kyliawitch I LOLd when i saw he wrote "its serbian".Probably because I'm from Serbia.

  • @TheMartinwh they're singing in Gaulish.

  • @DamuEmran I found it in a website, but youtube won't let me link here. I sent it to you channel. :)

  • @MYLOVEDEARFLEA send a message to me with the lyrics in it

  • Greetings from Serbia :D

  • It's awesome!

    Это прекрасно!

  • I don't know what are they saying but is very cool! xDDD lml

  • I think, when I`m done learning russian I`ll learn gaulish

    xD

  • Some one know what want to say this song??

  • brilliant band, I don't understand the gaulish language but the music alone is good enough

  • Jaja xDD esta genial esta cancion :)P no la habia eskuchado n___n

  • People who think Eluveitie's gaulish songs are nonsense, are people who are willing to surrender defending their ancestors' honor.

  • @kozagong and that' leads me the conclusion that europe is lost... to islam.

  • if you dont like it dont listen to it

  • i really love this song !

  • BY FAR...best song of this album

  • I have heard about pra-indoeuropean language thing, but of no detalis. Other in my region celts where supose once to live.

"My blod of fairy good family

    Now I am celebratin Juvenalies

This tablet I had written with spells

for my ambition is making attachment to him."

    - esp. if it is thing with Tablet. Carami = Spells in slavic lg.s, blatus, ambi - the same. Few words do the thing for me.

Meby somebody uderstand other phrases via other languages ? Other parts: z) Im mi da hauy my geneta da la si mi daa krau - in nearest future my kin will give me burial.
  • @goralodowa I can provide a translation for every single phrase in this song let me know if you are interested.

  • @hesgotthis2013

    That riff's fucking awesome...

I hope I could write riffs like this one :S

  • @hesgotthis2013 If you were my child I'd give you a pat on the back before killing you for waking me up.

  • I saw them twice, and Every time i landed in the arms of the securitys, no wavebreaker is able to hold me back!!! this band is so awesome!!i would love to see them a third a fourth,,,,and a hundreth time!!!!

  • Eluveitie, you can come in anywhere you want...

  • Eluveitie, please comes in France !

  • ouui ! Eluveitie en France ! quelle magnifique idée !

  • @MrsLilith666 ah bon? c'est une info ou juste un souhais? car s'ils passent vers Bordeaux, je suis prenneur :)

  • Eluveitie, please comes in Brazil, Minas Gerais!! ;D

  • Eluveitie please comes in italy!!!!

  • I don't know why are people are whining so much about Eluveitie singing that much in Gaulish, i think it makes their songs more unique, and beautiful.

  • @matejoto i actually completely agree with you i just wanted to add that they dont just sing in gaulish they do sing in english and there are other good bands that sing in other languages like rammstein their a german metal band i love them and the way they sond and i dont even have to know what they are saying its still amazing but yes i do agree with you gaulish is amazing

  • @qwu2 Yea but i noticed some of their songs are in gaulis. At least i think.

Rammstein is amazing too, me too, like this, i just listen to it and enjoy the music.

The line of artists who make real and enjoyable music thinnens every day... :(

  • @matejoto No, no, you are not completely right. The amount of real artists is konstant. But the amount of weak artists is still growing...

  • @matejoto and thats who they are anyways

  • @matejoto agreed

  • @matejoto i agree. it makes them very beautiful.

  • @matejoto It's because they have no REAL emotional ties to their music, nor familial ties to the people and history. They only want to hear it in English to satisfy their hunger for something different. And to TRY to understand. If you are Nordic or Nordic decent, no translation is necessary. Dane/Scot like me needs no translation!

  • @mhatkins I hear that :D

Go Let's Have Another Epic Gaulish War :P

  • @matejoto couldn't agree with u more!!

  • this song feels me with celtic pride!!

  • @TheProphet941 totally agreed!

  • @matejoto Zgadzam się pozdrowienia z polski ....

  • DNA of Keltic people still exists. In GB, Irish ofc. but also in Austria and Czech Republic. I'm from CZ and there were many of Keltic oppidas, nearest is about 10 km "far" from my home.

  • @porsherider Unfortunately high distribution of celtic haplotype in bohemian (less in moravian), bavarian and austrian population brings high prevalence of cystic fibrosis.

  • @1Hansele1: Totally worth it! :D

  • @porsherider Yeah, good deal! Red hair and oppidas in addition to cystic fibrosis... :-D

  • @1Hansele1 Heaven or Hell? :D oh... Asgard or Utgard?

  • @porsherider Valhalla or Niflheim.

  • @JorisKanters you mean Helheim, not Niflheim.

  • people need to learn their fucking history. Esp about the Helvetii

  • obs. traduzida para o Português meu idioma é claro =D

Você irá me trazer as estrelas? Agora, a noite vem. Agora tudo vai se silenciando. As casas vão ficando quietas. E o fogo vai se apagando Mas eu, não consigo dormir. CONTINUA.....

  • the celts came originionaly from the caucasian mountains, than they migrated to central europa. the culture there in central europa from 800 to 600 BC was caled the Hallstat culture. than the celts spread out to other part of europa like spain, ireland to even turkey. this happend from 600 to round about 400 BC. from 600 to the occupation of britain by the romans in 43 AD the celtic culture was caled the La tène culture.

  • es ist so schön *-*

  • from the loins of ancient comes forth this dark symphony..\m/

  • omg its gaulish how many times

  • @GreekonRampage i wonder if its gaulish

  • @GreekonRampage not enough times :P

  • @rabbidfishy apparently

  • very very sweet..music....love it....

  • are there still people that teach this language?.

  • @darkarchon777 Nope, even the lyrics have to be made in cooperation with historians and university teachers and both Chrigel and Anna said several times that the lyrics probably aren't very accurate.

  • Eluveitie ist der hammer ^^

  • einfach geil! just WOW! I<3Eluveitie

  • Gaulish, sometimes sounds like Greek.I know the Ancient Greeks had contact with these language, and they borrowed the Greek alphabet, then Latin alphabet when Romans came

  • They should teach these languages in school rather then german - so much more beautiful

  • @G0tp1ckle I agree although German is more practical, Gaulish would be awesome to learn.

  • There are many forms of Galic, I'm not sure which one this is tho

  • what "siraxta" mean?

  • they could be singing about killing everyone else and there race is supreme versus anyone elses lol

  • what language is that?

  • @Death1In2Fire3 Gaulish, its extinct, u wont find much in the way of it at all.

  • Only when listening to Eluveitie I get shivers now

  • romans were dumb idiots...destroyed celts..with awesome language like this...why didn't celts spread their language and instead of our own we all speak gaulish, or any other celtic language..imagine that!!

  • @kresimircina im from scotland heer there is more celtic words hidden in our dialect of english than most people know the language aint as dead as you think

  • @JOINMEINVALHALLA I know about your language, also irish and welsh, but it was spread a lot before, thus my opinion about dead language, and I don't know if scotish people have their own native language like irish do, but I know it is celtic in origin...and I know you were lucky to be on island so romans didn't probably have much desire to run you over there, but unfortunately for you english people came and took you under their crown..correct me if I am wrong please..

  • @kresimircina Scottish people in the past spoke Gaelic. So did the Irish. It is not called Celtic which I believe came abit later...don't quote me on that though.

  • @XxLongShotxX The Celts called themselves usually Gaels, Gauls, Gaelts or the like. Gauls were continental Celts living in France, whereas their more distant cousins are the Irish and Scottish Gaels. The closest to Celts in terms of language are Bretons and the Welsh and the Cornish.

  • @MichalPtacnik Thank you for correcting me. I do know that Scots spoke Gaelic though. :P ;)

  • @kresimircina Well your history is rather sketch my friend 1 You clearly dont know much about my language because if you did u would know that Scotland did have its own dialect of Gallic named after one of the biggest Celtic clans about "Brittany" yes also the modern day name of Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales as a whole so u clearly dont know much bout that.

2 In AD43 the Romans invaded Britain and took over wot is know as lower England which remains in Roman control for roughly 400

  • @kresimircina 400 years after. In AD 122 by the order of Roman emperor Hadrian a wall was built because the Romans were stopped to a halt because they couldn't invade what is now called (Scotland) the Celtic tribes to the north were far to strong. The wall was built from one side of Britain to the other to keep the northern Celtic tribes from the Romans as they got forced back at every trun.

3 During the time of the romans in britan the Anglos,Saxons and Jutes (viking tribes) that took control

  • @JOINMEINVALHALLA you are just wrong in one thing, the saxons, jutes and anglos in history were denominated anglosaxon and they were located in the actual central europe(germany, poland...) they were not viking nations because of their nordic location, greetings from Colombia

  • @imperioindigena Vikings, Danes, Nordic are all descendants of icelandic origin are they not its like saying the Gauls came from france and the Britons came from Britain but they are still celts

  • or Roman England hence defeating the Roman presence in Britten then called it England If they Defeated us there would be no Scotland . Scotland and England would war agents each other constantly, then the Norman French invaded on 14 October 1066 "Battle of Hastings" and defeated the England thus making it Norman England,i could go on but Im getting fed up now but if you want to talk history and facts make sure you get the right history my friend

  • @kresimircina one more interesting fact England does not own Scotland. In 1603 King James VI of Scotland inherited the English shown and became King James I of England. In 1707 Scotland and England united their parliments and became The United Kingdom of Great Britain.

  • @JOINMEINVALHALLA sorry man my bad just thought u were being cheeky like when u said "correct me if im wrong" i thought it was like a challenge

  • @JOINMEINVALHALLA no worries...thanks for the historic update though ;) cheers

  • @kresimircina we'd all f'king understand the lyrics xD

  • @thegeekest agreed

  • Gaulish, wonderful and amazing language, sadly, it is extinct.........

  • first time i heard this song fucking love it been looking 4 this album at record stores can't find it

  • @mrbill672 where are you from?? i found it even here in México

  • @gukgung have 3 of there albums can't find the old stuff live in washington state seems like everyone in america is into rap HATE RAP!!!

  • @mrbill672 here in Mexico everyone is into reggaeton, norteño, narcocorridos (i don't know how it's called in english), pop and some other shit. Maybe i'm the only one in my city that knows eluveitie, and i founded it! you certainly have to found it there, just look carefully

  • @gukgung ... your'not the one! i'm from mexico too! :D

  • @EliizRt y por que me hablas en inglés entonces! pero yo soy de Morelia, tampoco es tan literal eso de que soy el unico jaja

  • @gukgung Maybe we're two...I'm tired to see that stupid teenagers and people without brain waste their time listening "pseudo-music" , like jonas brothers or reggaeton, or even banda music.... and they don't realize that this kind of music exists, and its awesome ¡¡¡ Personally, I LOVE Inis Mona, that was the first song I listen from this band.

Those who like this music, be proud of it....even though people can't understand us. ( I'm sorry for my writing, my english isn't good)

  • @plukypollo2 I fully agree with you. Young people are wasting their time listening to the same cookie-cutter music that everyone else listens to on the radio. They need to introduce music like this into their collection. And maybe then they won't be so much of a group of stupid followers. (^_^)

  • @msaileeniful hahahaha, agreed, i am only 14, but i have some wider music tastes than my parents and teachers, cause i go out looking for good, original music! and yet people call me weird! ha!

  • @msaileeniful I must agree. That cookie-cutter music, as you so put it, has long since fallen from my interests. It started with the metal of America. So bland, so identical. I could listen to a single song and listened to the entire album. Gradually, I began to notice how identical many of the bands of America are. So I turned elsewhere. I found the music that varies. I found groups like Eluveitie. I found groups that are unique. Those groups are what interest me most of all.

  • My brain keeps claiming the Gaulish is SPANISH SPANISH SPANISH but I know its not but when I first herd it I thought it was for a split second. I think its because of some of the words and the way they roll their R's lol

  • So beautiful song and language, but I miss translation in my language :)

  • Comment removed

  • @Bannie171 theres some sites who've translated it to english, though only a very few know how to read gaulish, even fewer translate it.. and the rarest is those who can speak it (i read a while ago in a comment on another song that they got a friend who's a proffessor in gaulish which helps them with it, not even he is sure its the right way of speak the languege)

anyways, alot of the texts are actually very simple and without alot of gramma (since its catagories as a dead languege) :) *edited

  • the one in the front reminds me of orlando bloom O_o

  • One or two songs from eluveitie are good.

    The rest ist fucking awesome!

  • @TheLocklamora i see what you did there :P

  • A seis idiotas reguetoneros no les gusta.../ six reguetoners don`t like this

  • Its gualish. Not Gaelic.

  • @darknight15100 agreed

  • OH MY GOD...i love it..I LOVE IT!

  • ONE OF THE BEST METALBANDS LOVE IT

  • @gringhidu not one of the best metalbands the best metal band!!

  • Maybe is Gaulish

  • I thought it was like Greek. Sounds very eastern european mixed with like arabic

  • @EcoFascist it isnt greek, i asure u...but is one of the celtic langues...that were spoken in the northen lands...

  • @jonyspedy19 I would give my life to learn this Language....I am greek and i can guarantee that they do not sing in greek...If only greek was such a beautiful language!!!!

  • @Regran6 me too, it's a wonderful language and eluveitie is a great band... κρίμα που δεν είναι διαδεδομένοι εδώ....

  • @Regran6 hehe im agreed with u, i actualy think greek sux, and i know your langue "file" :))

  • @Regran6 did i said this is Greek? i know Greek language myself, next to Romanian, Spanish and English...so this language isn`t one of those..
