Chevron must pay for the damage that they have caused in my country, a lot of people are getting sick because this fucking company polluted a big part of the ecuadorian rain forest, and now they are blaming someone else.
That law suit on Texaco was opened around 1998, it was heard by a US district court that said it had no jurisdiction over the case and ruled that the ecuadorian court was the only one with jurisdiction and Texaco would have to battle it out there. Since then, Texaco has made every effort to avoid going to court because they know their lobbists can't bail them(buy them) out there as they usually do in the US. Now they want Mr Big Oil Bush to come to the rescue...
The suit stared like 13 years ago ,what they are talking about ? , almost when they left but this oil company is getting long for not taking responsabilities .
Next time dirty your suit and check under the ground how Chevron cover all mess trowing land on it but the water take it to the rivers and everything .
Yes we can!.
"the largest fraud in history" ???... fuck..ing chupamedias...
I would like to translate the entire interview, so everybody can understand and feel proud of our president. Many multinational corporations not only from the United States, but also from many other powerful countries have made bad things in the poor countries. for example, Mc Donalds exploits its workers in Ecuador because they pay very low salaries (200/month), the oil companies are destroying the Amazon jungle, among other things.

Yep. Nothing says hard earned money like
sitting on your fat, rich, ass all day long while
your under-paid workers do all of the actual
work, while you pollute other people's lands!

I don't understand why the journalist keep mentioning Chavez. If Chevron had cleaned up its mess from the beginning, everything would be fine now.
