In this genre, it really is a thin line to walk. I've heard 'Prayin for You' by Lecrae and it really does talk about his struggles while walking with Christ, no problems with it. But there are songs, even with good lyrics, other elements tend to draw away from the idea of worship and distort ideas of 'a life in Christ'.

God wants us to tell others about him and let them in on his wonderful grace. Sometimes we have to let them hear what they want, but it can still have a Godly message. At 2:13 he starts saying "Jesus Christ is the King it's the truth my man". He is just saying it in a way the world will understand. Satan does use music as a tool, but it doesnt mean we should ignore it. We should take it back for Christ just like this man has done.

They are distinguished from one another but both are God. Read Psalms 110 for an example of this. Praise be to Yeshua and his father Yahweh. I believe.

I was playing Lecrae's new album Rebel in Weight Training yesterday and I was playing just as loud as the music normally would be, but someone told me to turn it down, that it was "too loud" oh... was it cause it's about Jesus.... but if it were Lil' Wayne, Young Jeezy, or Rick Ross... he wouldn't mind it being loud... so what's wrong? the world needs a prayer... or god help us a lot are in trouble....

u have the right to ask them not to ply offensive material as well. I played christian music here and there, but always after someone allowed secular music. That way, they couldn't say nothing. That would be discrimination. I have played music at my old workplace and even in school, during class.
