  • I wish they'd all get back together & put on an AUSSIE ROCK LEGENDS tour!!! If The Police, Iron Maiden & Bon Jovi did it why can't our LEGENDS do it too????

  • Mate, what an amazing idea, they would fill a stadium, not a pub!

  • put Craig McLachlan on first to get the crowd warmed up. Hand out rotting fruit to everyone as they walk in. then on with the legends.

  • I grew up as a Sharp back in my hey day The Angels,AC/DC and Rose Tattoo were Legends and still are to this day, Thanks for posting my memorys.

  • No worries Casper, real music mate.

  • Greatest band of all times. Been an Angels fan since late 70's and stiil love them.Everytime I put on an album or cd I just get up and freak out as Doc does.Eventhough i now live in Greece and have for some time i made sure that my Angels records get heard up here. I've recruited alot of new fans. ANGELS I LOVE YA and miss you all uphere. Thanks for youtube at least i get to see how they are today.

  • Good on ya mate. I can just imagine Doc's voice on Mr Damage echoing through Greece!

  • yep, loved em since I was a nipper. Am spreading the word in Japan where they actually love their hard rock. ACDC and JET are huge in Japan so why not Doc and co? I gave em Face to Face to play in a bar and they LOVED it!

  • I went to see The Angels many times in the mid 80's and he was great and so athletic on stage. THe best one I saw was when Rose Tattoo played first, followed by The Angels.

I have heaps of photos somewhere

Doc comes in where I work, but I have not been working on the occasions when he has been in.

    he is fantastic.

I have this concert on vhs

  • Thanks for that Ash. Angels & Tatts, how amazing in the one show. Doc's the nicest bloke I'm told too.

  • Awesome, thanks for that! The Angels were the first band I ever saw live and they knocked me flat on my arse (all ages gig so I was stone cold sober) :D

  • You're welcome mate, reckon you might like new live DVD (at Narara)

  • Hey Damo,

Any ideas on where I can buy this? I haven't heard of it and would love it!!

I'm an Angels fan of old (first concert as well, back in 82/83).

Thanks for posting the vid dude!

  • Gday Stu, look mate this is an old video called "Australia's Best" I had given to me for my 14th birthday in 1985 (do the sums to see how old i am mate! LOL) on my page you'll also see INXS & Mentals too from the same old tape. These days there is Nothing like Doc & the boys, thats for certain.

  • I'll never forget these old gigs!

  • Great stuff, I much prefer Buzz Bidstrup as drummer, but they had some killer tracks with Brent Eccles too.

  • Better than nothing.

Watch the Red - great, great album. Shouldda sold millions.

  • Great stuff but shame that the audio is schiesen.

  • lol, sorry mate, old tape
