  • Note to time travellers...take polos

  • Ding

    Dong...

  • COLIN FIRTHHHH!

  • Some people believe Shakespeare didn't was not a writer, but a actor and that he worked for the make who made those masterpieces, but no one can know.

  • @AlekSensej See how some times things can be complicated about a historical feature such as he,you say now that he was mostly an actor but we cant close up to the fact that he actualy migh have write some of those plays.

  • @youtoubakias I am just saying maybe history as we know it is bollocks.

  • @AlekSensej Who knows for sure!

  • "a little too far forward"

    *Lazers shot from spaceships*

    Rofl XDD

  • *punch* That is for every school boy and school girl for the next 400 years!

    amen! xD

  • Ha! Colin Firth as William Shakespeare!

  • Colin Firth as Shakespeare, cheeky! :L

  • less than orthodox mouthal odour? now THAT we all have

  • Just watched Rowan Atkinson hit Colin Firth... thats Zazu vs Mr darcy...

  • Personally I don't care if it time travels or not but the Time Machine set would be awesome to have as a toilet or sth.

  • I may be taking a stab here and stepping outside my area of expertise but I believe what makes these so good is that most of the actors are stage actors. thus they need presence to be good and have learnt it via actual acting not just from sitcoms and movies. For one to act on stage I think it requires far more skill than prerecorded movie,

  • @TheImpundulu Just as i thought for those kind of actors! thats why their so freaking talented.

  • @TheImpundulu

Thumbs up dude! You nailed it. I can tell you, because of my area of expertise, that stage acting is key in being a well-educated actor.

  • Anyone else who dislikes this-i'm gonna crush your skull like and egg! ;)

  • naughty mints

  • It's just a shame he's called Colin.

  • "Frankly my Lord, we are wimpsies. We invented tapestry, the souflé and sweet lequier - we will be slaughtered the minute we mince up the hill" LOL

    (Sorry for any spelling errors)

  • I think we'd all punch Shakespeare...

  • @bryonythompson bit rich coming from Byron!

  • Why are British actors and British television SO much better than our stupid American crap? :(

  • @SecondBananaAddams I love both british and american humour, the fact that today's comedy is crappy its because the producers and directors run out of good ideas. And this is hapening because some older producers still holds their places in those sections and not leting anyone else newer shown their ideas. And this is not hapening only on movies.Don't go far look what hapen to the newest comic scenarios.Another thing is that they try to fit more in to the newer public that has not the great taste.

  • Respond to this video... A simple example of a good 80s sitcom series that i loved to wach and i would do it again. 80s love and mariage compare to friends, tell me now wich one is better? For me by far the true american hero all bundy ofcourse,i don't say that friends was bad but they cannot reach the bundy's no matter how many seasons make or how good they will try to tell the joke. And we talk now about an american series right? The english have a way to make comedy look more bright.

  • @youtoubakias u must mean married with children

  • @SecondBananaAddams Its not all faaking roses sunshine! ;)

  • @SecondBananaAddams maybe because they put more emphasis on looks than acting skill, i mean even ugly betty is good looking lol

  • And, whats with Kate Moss as maid marion? LOL

  • @ErynnGirl1 They wanted the most beautiful girl in the world to play Marion, so they got Kate, of course.

  • @eizhowa You mean Bob ;)

  • @CaptainHollister Do you mean Bob got Kate or that Bob is the most beautiful girl in the world? (Who is Bob?)

  • @eizhowa Kate - its short for Bob. Have you even watched series 2 ever?

It was supposed to be a joke ;)

    Hello....?

  • @CaptainHollister The show hasn't been on tv in my country for a while, so I can't claim to have watched more than what I can get my hands on here at youtube.

As for the Bob reference, you have completely lost me. How is Kate short for Bob? I feel like an imbecile right now:/

  • @eizhowa watch Series 2 Episode 1, all shall be explained

  • @CaptainHollister Oh, I get it! Kate actually had a line... Thank you wikiquote...

  • And, they are hatin' on Kenneth Branagh! OMG funny... :)

  • OMG its Colin Firth as William Shakespeare! :-]

  • i dont understand the queen dident act like that in the episodes this is wierd

  • "Bhut with respect, we are woopsies, we invented the tapersty, the sueflae and the chocolate liquoer. We will be slaughtered the moment we mince up the hill" XD

    Cannon fire "Uuhhh".

    And there's 2 Darlings...lol.

  • Kate Moss as Maid Marian? haha

  • "I LOVE "giving it" to the poor!" XDDDDD

  • People disliking the clip where Shakespeare gets what he deserves? What's wrong with those 3 people?!

Plus, that 4 hour, uncut version of Hamlet really is hell.

  • Colin Firth as William Shakespeare...?

  • they should've made a full length movie

  • 8:59 the French accent at it's funniest!

  • It's like Blackadder meets Doctor Who

  • @IloveOtherPplsMsry Yet surprisingly they don't make a single reference to Doctor Who, even though it should have been one of the first jokes they thought of, but oh well.

  • Ah, feels good to see the queen from the 2nd series again.

  • if this is the new blackadder i hope they don't make anymore.

  • @GameMusicCompiIation I like every black adder that they make i know that this is maybe not the best but its cool!

  • @GameMusicCompiIation Why don't you like it? I find it witty and overall great!

  • @GameMusicCompiIation It's a rehash, a final summation. There definitely won't be any more blackadders worth watching, and thank god for it, this series has been completely exhausted.

Let us remember it for what it was, and not what two bit directors with no imagination envision it to be in the future.

  • @GameMusicCompiIation You know what the main problem is? it's like Blackadder I. When they are let loose on sets a locations they lose all direction and focus. If they were on one or two sets in the studio (like blackadder II, III and forth), they focus more on the characters and the dialog and thus have made a better special.

  • What is the music at 4:22?

  • All the product placement! I feel vaguely soiled by its obviousness!

  • Shakespear is Colin Firth, haha

  • @Stolemyusename considering how awful he was playing one of Shakespeare's characters ten years alter this is funny

  • @desepardos184 yeah! Awkard!!

  • the court scene is so great, all those degenerated characters, absolutely phantastic!!

  • 2:30 --

what does she say? "take this, you sexy____"?

  • @MoveOverCasanova Flirt.

  • Whot did the French Darling say he was at about 8:21? "I the duke of...." the duke of what? When he was speaking to Napoleon

  • @Supduplemup

    Duke of Darling

    ;)

  • @Supduplemup Duc de Darling

  • @Supduplemup "I ze Duke de Darling bring news..."

  • "the King"Colin Firth:-)

  • The Time Bandits met Napoleon and Robin Hood as well.

  • @Dristarg -- but i prefer this verion to the bit overblown time bandits

  • Colin Firth is hot!!

  • Ding, Dong :)

  • Comment removed

  • Haha! Hilarious Shakespeare scene.

  • is it just me, or is miranda richardson still hot??

  • @DjTokenMusic Nope she is still hot!

  • @DjTokenMusic she is 50+ and she is still hot as hell.

  • One joke in Midsummer Night's Dream? I'd say the whole actor's scenes are funny, nothing wrong with it...

  • This makes me wonder how Blackadder II got him out of the spot his descendant got him in... How is he going to get mints in the Elisabethian era?

  • Comment removed

  • "Am I Robin Hood? Is Will Scarlet a poof in tights? Is Friar Tuck a big tub of lard? Is Maid Maryan a hot girl?" Frankly, seeing Will Scarlet made me laugh out loud.

  • 'My tough band of freedom fighters... who have good muscle tone and AREN'T GAY'. I love that man

Hang on... I'm not gay either!

  • Is Maid Marian Kate Moss?? :O:O.

  • Is Maid Marian Kate Moss?? :O:O

  • @seanolly You mean Robin Hood.

  • @seanolly Oh yeah! Sorry! Robin Hood! ha ha!

  • *POW* that was for every school boy and school girl for the next 400 years.

  • "We will be slaughtered the minute we mince up the hill." I love that line.

  • I know I'm going to get called a racist by some PC wanker, but what the fuck's a black guy doing in a 16th century court?

  • @Noodles37UK Likely a moorish fysician. They where very fasionable, not to mention talanted.

  • @Mullahgrrl Hmmm... You're most probably right. But in this day and age, you could write a script with 4 white neo- Nazis talking in a room, and when the BBC get a hold of it, they'd still manage to stick a black lesbian in a wheelchair in there somehow.

  • @Noodles37UK I must say that I am pro adding lesbians to things.

  • @Mullahgrrl err.... it was a joke.

  • @Noodles37UK Even so...

  • @Mullahgrrl Oh for God's sakes... Well I'm pretty sure you're not a bad person.

  • @Noodles37UK Only on the internet.

  • @Mullahgrrl Hrrrr Ngaang

  • @Mullahgrrl

You can add lesbians to anything on the internet. As long as they're not the strident type and are fond of each other, who's complaining?

  • @Noodles37UK

No, you're not racist but Queen Elizabeth actually was. She disapproved of the fashion for having black or Moorish servants and wrote a document protesting against it.

  • sadly not v funny, but entertaining!

  • We will be slaughtered the minute we mince up the hill!! class

  • *wack*

"Thats from every single school boy and girl for the next 400 years."

    Priceless!

  • where he says its too far forward is actually too far back since starwars is set in the past

  • Flash Hood?

  • Is that Kate Moss???!!!!!!

  • @merton8181 Yes

  • Who's Ken Branagh?

I'll tell him you said that, and I think he'll be very hurt...

  • @catsconfuser Frankly I'd have shot him for giving the likes of Emma Thompson a platform.

  • @catsconfuser I don't know who he is ( i'm sorry : ( )

  • you smell absolutely yummy now and not at all like a turd

  • kate moss!!!!

  • Queenie is soooo cute :)

  • "I'd hate to know what the toilet facilities are like round here..."

"*small voice at the back* Not very good, actually" XD

  • robin hood in nottingham - where live :P i feel special :P LOL!

  • No need to go to work today, Robin Hood and his band of merry men will be round with an enormous pile of cash. Sounds like the Welfare state under Labour.

  • "we will be slaughtered the minute we mince up the hill" lol

  • queen elizibeth is soo fit......who plays her

  • @britdemo Miranda Richardson :)

  • @PSBelectronica thanks .......she is smoking even more so when she is mad lmao

  • Is Maid Marrion Kate Moss??

  • This is so bad it's almost...no wait, it's just terrible. Really embarrassing.

  • @lamplighteyes

It's certainly nowhere near the quality of Series 2 or much of Series 4. Come to think of it, even most of Series 1 pees on it from a great height.

There is also a rather odious NuLab/ NuTory message to it as well.

  • @anonUK Agreed on what you say about its New Labour/ Tory stuff. You're right, I'm not racist- my Mum is from Malta and in the seventies she'd got called " big darkie", my younger brother got called " paki" . So I went left- wing/ punk rock. But all this BBC liberal fascism really bugged me.

This one off is best forgotten. It's woeful.

  • @Noodles37UK Liberal fascism? I was under the impression that the far side of conservatism was fascism, and that the far side of liberalism was socialism. Neither are great, obviously, but liberals are pretty much not fascist. Anyhow, Black Adder is an asshole. He's supposed to be that way. He's also supposed to be the smartest person in the room at all times.

  • @TheZacula We call it Liberal Fascism in my country. You do what they say by people previously deemed liberal and good in a world of unfairness and bigotry.

  • He would give you some bonus points (bored look on faces)

    LOL XD

  • I absolutely LOVE and ADORE Rik Mayall! His Robin Hood is the best (next to Carey Elwes). Mayall is a true comedic genious.

Oh, btw... I love the lines: "Who's Ken Branagh?" "I'll tell him you said that". Made me laugh out very loudly.

  • 'that is for every school boy and school girl for the next four hundred years' hahahaha, i actually enjoy a little shakespeare though...

  • "...a tin of baked beans at half the normal prize!" -- KILL HIM! ))

  • The French's reaction...Haha!!! XD

  • @PSBelectronica i lovedthe frenchthey were so camp and funny

  • best time travelling comedy made!

  • God, am I jealous of Kate Moss right about now...

  • i love Queenieeee

  • I loved the bit where Queenie stuck out her tongue with the Polo mint on it! Everybody does that, but it's funnier to see Queenie do it!

  • thank you, youtoubakias=)

  • "We will be slaughtered the minute we mince up the hill"

  • actually yes shakespeare is colin firth.i looked it up

  • That Shakespeare was so cute!! Was is Colin Firth?

  • @Bigfatbutterfly02 Yes,he is Colin Firth :) Love him! <3
