  • Tres belle, trops belle... merci bien! Thank you, its so beautiful!

A écouter autrement

  • wow this is one of my favourite songs and i'm from richmond too! :)

  • Superbe, merci, thank you !

  • I love this kind of choral music, add that to the fact that I love this song. This is my little piece of heaven today.

    Men allant promener

    Jai trouvé leau si belle

    Que je my suis baigné.

  • So beautiful, when I leave earth and hopefully get to heaven, I would want this song to escort me, along with Curtis Mayfield's People get ready and Bob Dylan's I shall be released !!

  • una caricia para los oídos

  • Belíssima apresentação!! A melhor versão!

  • magnificent

    thank you

  • This was absolutely beautiful! One of my favorite pieces - and your choir performed it fabulously. I love this arrangement, and I liked that it was a cappella. It maintained the delicate sweetness of the lyrics.

  • this is really beautiful.

my favorite version though is at the end of the movie, 'the painted veil'. that'll make you cry.

  • ahh! i know! everytime i watch that part i cry! i love the movie though...

    <3

  • sounds magnificent harmonies are superb

  • How come it is being sung in the church? What does this song have to do with church thing? I thought it was a song just to have fun without connection with church.

  • LOL.Well, you're not very bright are you? "A song just to have fun". If you're that superficial and backward, why do you even bother?

  • may be you misunderstood what I meant. I do not know french but I always hear that song from many people even those who are not french speaker do memorize some part of that song. But what I meant is that I was very surprised to see it performed in the church. Can you tell me any spritual message in there then? Or may be it is not in the curch, it is just a place which look like church.hahah

  • Rather a surprising venue. The song is 100% secular. No religious content whatsoever. It contains no profanity, although the lines "I lost my friend for refusing him/her a bouquet of roses" (J'ai perdu mon ami(e) pour un bouquet de roses que je lui refusais) is amenable to interpretation.

  • "J'ai perdu ma maîtresse...." the song goes:

  • Hey, i sing in a church choir for Les Jeunes Chanteurs d'Acadie and I sing this song too in church.. it doesn't only have to be for the people who don't sing in church, do you get that ?

  • OMG!!!! :o!! Quiceque t!!! T dans Les Jeunes Chanteurs d`Acadie?!! MAN!!! Moi itoo!! :P C moi, Isabelle Melanson!!! C tu quiceque chu?? Man, j`veux right savoir quiceque t!!

  • Indeed this song does not contain any spiritual message ;) but I think in this vid, it's just a concert, not a mass, that's why ; but you would never hear it during a mass, you're right !

  • too bad theyre all english singing this, I can hear their accent through it

  • This is beautiful...

  • amazing

  • Love this song.
