  • after two minutes of typing answer i found it thirty seconds later.

  • guys i really wanna know how vending machines identifies the coin. i m not gonna hack any machine swear :) i did some research but i couldn't find something real. Yeah this one works you could make it accept 4-5 kinds of coin too. But this system just check the size of the coin. if i put same size of anything it'll accept. so if you guys know any material about that please share it with me ...

  • @1th3n Yeah but what if you wanted sell something for five cents? Then how'd that work out for ya?

  • pretty clever! And simple!

  • So it only takes quarters? Pretty cool but most vending machines will take dimes and nickels as well... But really cool for a machine that uses no electronics.

    Very nice

  • can you give us the circuit diagram of your coin slot mechanism!!! needs for developing a rice vending machine

    thank and more power...

  • sort of a balancing act?

  • 2 pesos!!

  • Great :) I had thought similar Coin slot, but it was with thickness not siz for falling down. Havent ever made, but in paper I saw major problem :/

But I think this is much better, works better and no failures.

  • How do you put a switch on that?

  • problem would arise if a coin which is similar in size and thickness.

  • what happens when you shove it in there really fast

  • It goes all the way and fall into the "return" box.

  • so i think i missed it but does this thing like only work with quarters?

  • That is right, for that reason I created a improved version.

  • ryan yes u could do this with all coin size's i think you would put the smaller holes near the front and and biger and bigger as u go on so the smaler coins fall to there place and the bigger coins they wont fit threw the smaller ones so they keep going till there hole.

  • Excellent!! I may have to try this. The one thing I'm not to sure about for my mame cab was a working coin slot.

  • What if someone flicks the smaller coins into the slot just enough to reach the quarter slot-drop? Maybe a longer roll to the quarter slot drop could help solve that.

  • Yesterday by chance i visited Josepino's website and i did this with paper and it works everytime, no need for a longer roll

  • Awesome. I want to make a coin slot that will accept any coins though for a MAME cabinet. Does anyone know how to do this?

  • look at what i did in the video response and look at my other video of it in action!

  • I don't see any video response.

  • sorry i removed the video

  • easy way would be to get a real slug rejector or you can make one out of a coin sorter

  • awesome first view!
