things have changed. not everything, and not everyone, but i honestly believe men's perspective towards women on the whole has changed, because boys were raised with girls like joan jett as idols. i mean, c'mon, girls playing guitars and being wild and free? that's fucking awesome! and any guy who's "threatened" by that is a dumbass. i'm a guy, but i would rather live in a world where girls do whatever the fuck they want. it's more enjoyable for everyone when we're all on the same level.

I am old enough to remember the Runaways and Joan Jett, to this day remains one of my favourite women in rock. These pop princesses of today can only dream of becoming an icon of Joan's calibre.

GIRLS DO ROCK...right on, Joan! It is a shame 'not much' has changed since The Runaways. I cant wait for movie. I LOVE THE RUNAWAYS. Joan and Cherie look fabulous.
