Did anyone else notice that the metallic objects in the dome in the city scene are actually the raw polygonal tree models from the Second Reality Demo?
I still have this benchmark if anyone needs it just send me a message over youtube and i will see about getting a copy to you, regards Richard p.s i like the bit with the robots in the bsp map render.
Cool cityscape scene with the Max Payne billboards, plus a remix of the Second Reality music. MP must have only been in the concept stages at the point.
Did you manage to get it to work under windows xp - maybe in compatibility mode? In that case i would try to capture it with a higher frame count. This benchmark was really stunning at its time!! Remedy and Max Payne ftw! :)
Beautiful stuff indeed, thanks for sharing. But why the low frame rate? I know Fraps puts some load on the system and thus decreases performance but I recentely tried this my good ol' Voodoo Banshee-driven Pentium Pro bucket clocked at 200 Mhz and... I gotta say it did a fair amount better than this :P
The version of Fraps I used only allowed uncompressed video capture, and unfortunately my HD isn't fast enough to capture the benchmark running at full speed.
Remedey are the remnants of Future Crew?:

I think todays minesweeper has higher system requirements than this benchmark.

Not sure. If I have the time I'll see if I can find the file and post it. It's only about 10MB or less.

@fayik123 If you want, I have the original benchmark files. Sure they won't mind a little copy since it's actually a benchmark. :)
