She's the only one who can calm him when he's in a violent rage. Although I think he was only starting to subconsciously realize it during "Limbo", I wholeheartedly believe that yes, they were falling in love during the show and yes, they end up together - although I do think it's not until a few years after the end of the series!
I was just as dumbfounded as Lynley when Helen was killed. I could not believe that after all they have gone through together, she would get killed. And the way she was killed: trying to help someone else. Just like Helen, always helping someone.

I think the new Helen is allright, but I also think that Lynley and Havers belong together. Despite their differences they have this enormous chemistry. I just love it!

I haven't yet seen the fifth season of Inspector Lynley, but I'm aching to. So, I don't know what to think of this Helen. But I do know that the old Helen really got on my nerves; she was really annoying. I had no idea what Lynley saw in her.lol.:)

I really hated Helen because I hoped that Lynley and Havers would become a couple! Sharon Small and Nathaniel Parker in love would be sooo lovely ;)
