CharlesDickens99 seems to have it out for Robert Fisk. After a meeting on another Fisk video he sent me lots of Fisks "innacuracies" in the form of a message. A message that ended with a comment about The great war for civilisation that said "this is the type of book I would expect Bin Ladens favourite journalist to write" A documentary about the dangers of Islam too, With Rudi Guliani speaking about it. Great person to listen to about Islam. I'd rather listen to Fisk instead of that crazy man.

In Fisks latest book The Age of the Warrior, he writes the following factual inaccuracy.Shakespeare lived at a time when the largely Muslim Ottoman Empirethen at the zenith of its power, remained an existential if not a real threat for Europeans.
In 1565, one year after the birth of Shakespeare (1564), the Turkish Ottomans besieged Malta and were defeated by the Knights Hospitallers of St John.
When Queen Elizabeth I of England heard of the victory she ordered church bells rung.
Robert Fisk is one of the few people called "journalists" who do the occupation justice.

Fisk also ignores, or is ignorant of, other examples of Ottoman Imperialism such as
The Breaking of the Siege of Vienna (14th, October 1529)
The Battle of Lepanto (7th of October, 1571)
The Battle of Khotyn (9th of October, 1621)
The Battle of Vienna (11th of September, 1683)
There is lots of factual inaccuracy in Fisks work. Read Efraim Karshs review of The Great War for Civilization.

Except Shakespeare was born that year and it was the height of Ottoman imperialism. How is that a factual inaccuracy?

How sad it is for these people to keep saying these wars are lost when they clearly are not.
