You go down to the bottom left corner of the screen, click options. There should be a little camcorder icon, click high quality. I hope that helps.

You buy expansion packs at the store. Stuff packs are like $19.99 & the regular expansion packs are like $30.00. i don't know many cheats, but if you want help with sims if you buy it, just pm me :)
