Well based on this first episode i'm not sure how i'll like this series. Art style and music are definitely old school and I appreciate the sense of nostalgia it causes in me, but the main character's coming off as kind of a freak who think s without acting. @thechapmaniac1 Will basically every character in any anime is japanese unless said to be black, white or any other race. don't let the art style fool you, just because their hair is blonde or their eyes are blue, because you gotta remember nihonjin(japanese people) always dye their hair or where colored contacts. so of course their gonna make their characters look different or any way they want to, but that doesn't mean their not japanese, it just simply means that their a unique character.

The compilation movies were made in 2005. 00 is part of the ce series of gundam and is unrelated to uc series. Google is your friend on these kinds of things.

@warriorking4ever Char's red mobile suit, and the mobile suits of his wingmen, is called a Rick Dias - so not quite the same but clearly *inspired* by the Rick Dom. If you look closely, the design is a lot more angular than most of the Zeon suits from the first series, which had rounder shapes to them.
