This crab is my favorite plus you only need a ten gallon fish tank(covered) and just give them dead fish(sorry if you get disgusted), fruits, and other foods that humans eat. Keep them away from other species of land crabs, long legged shore birds, and copper. Give them a bowl of fresh water. As a vitamin, give them cuttlebone.

I have one these it's name is Muchacha, they are excellent pets! Although this species borrows ALOT you rarely see them. But these one are very not shy, alot of them like to be handled (But be careful that you do not drop him or loose him because they WILL NOT come back out of they're new hiding spot). And Have a bowl of water not Half and half land and water. They like fresh water.

No not at all the eat scraps or some fish foods the can live 10-15 years and to get one you don't need lighting or anything ask someone at your local pet store for the rest of the info and the cost about 55 or 60 dollars to get all setup
