  • 2222 tariso hehe

  • 1:33 gophers?

  • love

  • You guys this is obviously for comedy and entertainment ... British accents are funny... Problem?

  • It freaks me out when he talks and he doesn't shut up in this one lol:-)

  • He knows about the copyright, uploads it, but isn't *trying* to infringe? Hello?

I HAVE A GUN TO YOUR HEAD BUT I SWEAR I AM NOT TRYING TO INFRINGE ON YOUR SAFETY?

Does that make sense? No. Ok so now I can go back to enjoying the Pink Panther. LOL!

  • I did not know the Pink Panther was British.

  • he hav to talk cuz the bad guys could talk

  • the first time i watched i almost flipped shit when he said gophers

  • WOW that's a big diamond at the end

  • golphers?

  • I love the voice

  • I just noticed something. When Pink Panther has the barrel dropped on him, he is wearing the robe. He isn't wearing it after he tunnels his way outside using that small shovel.

  • The Pink Panther has a telephone to open his safe. I like it that it is rotary. What would it be today?

  • I love it when Deveraux looks in the barrel and talks and then gets his head blown off in mid-sentence.

  • you notice how guns never kill anyone in shows like this, no matter how many times you fire them

  • He can haz voice now hooray!

  • The English dialogue is so off the wall sometimes, isn't it?

  • Obviously the Pink Panthers creators hate the English, as the last three episodes have portrayed them, either in voiceover or character, as upper crust buffoons. I TAKE THIS VERY PERSONALLY.

  • This is a really funny cartoon, especially the British voices. Debrow's voice kills me. He sounds like Hitchcock. One error though. Dropping a diamond will not break it into pieces.

  • classy

  • this why he talks the creators wanted to people know that he can talk nothing much..

  • You're a buttered fingered oaf, Hoskins!

  • I remember being caught completely off guard wgen I first this episode when I was about ten years old. I'd been watching the Pink Panther all my life, and this threw me for a loop. Looking back, if the Pink Panther had to have a voice, I think I'd want him to sound like MILES DAVIS!

  • love his voice XD

  • PINK PANTHER RULES!!!!!!

  • LOL!!!! He can talk!!! =D

  • at 4:28-4:32 I like to see the look on his face when... BOOM! LOL

  • @ToonJoey34 That part kills me.

  • his line at the end "They say a rolling stone gathers no moss. We wouldn't want a beautiful stone like this to gather moss, would we"

  • the best episode!!!!!! kome se nesvidja nek' ga duva!

  • he said "your a fucking finger dough" 1:45+

  • he said "your a fucking pig"

  • nice

  • lol layout: dick ung

  • This was one of only two episodes where the Panther actually spoke. I love the setup line, "Let me have it!" I'm also a fan of Hanna-Barbera cartoons, and people are always getting Snagglepuss confused with the Pink Panther.

  • wtf he is tlkin this episode hav me laffing all i hav to say is lol

  • R I P to the creator, Blake Edwards. We'll miss you.

  • Pink with his swagger shit is crazzy .

  • IDK whether or not this was one of the first I saw in the 80s where he spoke, but my initial reaction was "HOLY (CRAP), HE TALKS! HE REALLY TALKS!"

Sweet memories indeed to say the least.

  • myth buster proves that rolling stone doesn't gather moss

  • awsome quite funny

  • One of the very few cartoons where he talked.

  • and sounds like a flamer

  • i like totally love this one becuz alot of comedy is in it n pink panther acually tlks in this episode i have been searching for it n now here it is rite infront of my eyes

  • What did the Pink Panther say the first time he spoke?

  • CLOSE THE GATE DEBRO!!! LMAO!

  • he actually spoke omg

  • AHAHAHAHA OMGGGG IT"S THE BEST EPISODE AHAHAHA ....

  • They talk in this one!

  • Hmm.... I didn't know Pink Panther could talk.

  • Rich Little not only did the Alfred Hitchcock voice for Deveraux, but the Cary Grant voice for Hotchkins, and the David Niven voice for The Pink Panther.

Ironically, Little would do the Niven voice again for "Curse Of The Pink Panther". Niven had lost his voice during the movie, so his dialogue was dubbed for Little to imitate.

  • he talks

  • I love pink panther~~ ever since i was a child^^

  • This episode came out on6-10-1965. It's the 9th one on the Pink Panther classic cartoon collection. And one of the only two episodes he spoke in. Sink Pink was the other.

  • Why is the pink panther britsh?? :S

    <3 him though

There duel did not work out :)

  • @Lorna662 Why not? Maybe because it made him sound more classy. I had no problem with that.

  • this episode is one of the all-time funniest (imo)

every scene is SOO ridiculous xD xD xD

  • Having a normally silent cartoon character talk isn't the worst thing in the world--as long as the voice fits the character. For example Wile E. Coyote talked in 4 out of 5 of his outings with Bugs Bunny and two with the Roadrunner--and the voice Blanc provided the coyote with fit perfectly. The voice Rich Little gave the Pink Panther was perfect. Unfortunately that terrible 90s version gave the Pather a horrific voice that wasn't even British! It didn't fit at all.

  • @glowworm2

In the few cartoons where Wile E. Coyote talked, is that supposed to be a British accent, or just some aristocratic upper class US accent?

  • @glowworm2

In the few cartoons where Wile E. Coyote talked, is that supposed to be a British accent, or just some aristocratic upper class US accent?

  • @glowworm2 Matt Frewer

  • hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Rich Little's impression of David Niven was actually dubbed in for Niven's last two movies. Niven had previously lost his voice to Lou Gehrig's Disease before dying of it. I could be mistaken, but I'm guessing that Little used his impression of Niven for the voice of the Pink Panther here and in "Sink Pink."

  • Doesn't the Pink Panther talk in the 90's series?

  • @christopheramba Yes. And so did the man with the big nose!

  • since when the pink panther could talk

  • only one of the few that the panther speaks,

  • Rich Little had to use that Alfred Hitchcock voice for that Devereaux character

  • gosh he really talked a lot in this 1...

  • he he he.... talked :O

what a silly voice he haves >:(

  • weeeird....

  • I was suprised when I heard the pink panther spoke on this episode.

    "Gophers?"

LOL That made me laugh my lungs out. XD

  • @626joshua I remember in another episode he said "Why can't men be more like animals?" I forgot the name of the episode.

  • @TheRaker55

    "sink pink"

  • @tsuyoshi15 Oh Yeah it was that episode.

  • i dont like the way Pink talks, it spoils it!

  • I don't understand. Pink had recovered the gem, why do the guys still have it countless times?

  • @vockla He didn't recover it, Hotchkins dropped it on the floor and it broke, which is impossible anyway. The gag was that he kept stealing diamonds from them after they stole from him.

  • If only it would've been remade in a pantomime version. With voices, it just plays like the lesser WB Looney Tunes of the same era (which were also done by the same DPE team with Bill Lava as composer).

  • I meant DFE Films... lol.

  • In "Sink Pink" says "Why man don't be like animals?" that's what I remember .

  • 1:33 AAAHH! He talked!

  • You're right... he talked! Pink only talks twice... in this cartoon and in Sink Pink. Rich Little really did an amazing job providing the voice of Pink.

  • @JohnnyArrombador01 He also speaks in the ep where he is on a pirate ship for a "pleasure ride", doesn't he?

  • @JohnnyArrombador01 he talked for a whole episode once

  • @JohnnyArrombador01 Pink Finger too I think

  • i like it better when there's no talking

  • best cartooon ever for me

  • "you're a butter-fingered oaf Hoskins!..."

lol 6:07. love the sound effects!

  • 5:43 They say "A rolling stone gathers no moss" and we don't want a beautiful thing like this to got any moss.

  • I would imagine the Pink Panther would talk like that. I think the Pink Panther is just too cool for words.

  • Yep - it was the only episode where he talked. I loved Pink Panther and I remember waiting and waiting for this episode when I was a kid. :)

  • @slyon68

Actually, he speaks one line in Sink Pink

  • Oh, I didn't know that! I will have to look it up. Thanks!

  • "Hoskins, let me have it! *BANG* Devereaux, you've got it! *BANG* The same to you, Hoskins! *BANG* Here's one back again! *BANG* And another for you!" lol

  • he TALKS !! (o_O)

hmm its not that bad actualy.

but isn't that the same voice we hear in episodes like "pink ice" and "pink finger" ? :) just wondering..

  • Rich Little only does Pink Panther.

  • @Cyrielmartens of cource he talks it was on the second season

  • this is the only episode he actually talks :)

  • no he talks in sink pink too

  • Rich Little supplies the voice of Pink Panther here. Supposedly the voice and mannerisms were patterned after Rex Harrsion. He's also the two Cockney hunters.

  • Hes soo awesome it is better than nowaday cartoons and stuff my op[iniun

  • this is soo cool and awesome . i like it when

Pink Panther talks he is cool. :)

  • I thought it was cool when the Pink Panther spoke, but only in two shorts. The other was "Sink Pink".

  • I don't like him talking but, that's the best voice for him.

  • Why did the pink panther talk?

  • The crreators probably wanted to see what it would be like if he'd talk.

  • i wonder wat he say if he can talk?

  • think pink

  • This episode comes on Boomerang, it's just a rare episode and there are always guns on the Pink Panther show.

  • This is also one of the two Pink Panther cartoons in which the main character, by the name of The Pink Panther, talks. He also has a line at the end of "Sink Pink", also from 1965:

"Why can't man be more like animals?"

  • This was one of the first episodes. After only 2 the writers decided to make the Pink Panther a mute character. He's actually a lot more effective that way.

  • It's not one of the first episodes actually.

  • i think its better if he doesnt talk or is it me cuz im use to him not talking

  • I think it's supposed to be the 9th episode

  • @FilmerOfBobcats it's the 11th

  • From 1965.

  • Thank man, I was looking forever for this video, this episode is awesome. I'll definitely put 5 star on your video.
