Do you think it looks good? Like, a good, shiny black? I would be putting it on a desk next to a Toshiba A135 PC and a unibody white MacBook, this would be my second Mac. I need your opinion before purchasing it.

No, Mac has always been very inferior to vista in gaming. The Macbook has very good hardware (CPU, RAM, Hard-Drive) for running games, but has a mediocre video card.

But Mac OS X leopard can run vista with Boot Camp.

It does have a microphone built right into it (next to the iSight). The MacBook CAN scratch easily, but no matter the color, the scratches are never noticable. The white MacBooks are impossible to collect visible finger prints, but the black ones do collect the greasey grease :D

Hey that was a great review but im stuck on deciding wether or not i want to get a macbook or a macbook pro i just dont want it to outdate too quickly because that would defeat the whole purpose of getting one that would last... I got a new macbook for christmas and I love it but sometimes when I play games or some of the applications "shut off unexpectedly" I dont know if its something I did but its only every-once and a while, It does freeze sometimes and I have to restart it but other than that its very fast, and I have only had it like a week and a half and its easy to use and figure out.

yes, theoretically you are still at risk. Anytime you download a file from a filesharing program, it could have malicious software attached to it. But I still wouldnt worry about it since there arent very many known mac viruses out there.

Update wise, Apple is supposed to put out a huge update on the MacBook line at Macworld in early January. They're going to make them super portable/thin and possibly aluminum, with flash memory, but a thing to consider is that they're supposedly going to be priced at $1500, so if you weren't planning on spending that much in the first place, definitely get it now, all the software updates are good for now.
