Yeah, this solo impression is pretty well done. It's all by inhaling. It's pretty easy to do with some technique, but still a great stuff. I did once suceed in pulling off the whole vocal solo, just once, I felt really proud. But this was pretty due to luck. My voice was really flawless. I'm not sure it will happen again.

Yeah I know what you mean it's pretty much a luck thing for the most part. I wouldn't attempt it anymore though because it would definetly crash my throat at some point. Chino only does crap like that with ease because he had to screw his voice up after a long period of time. Most simply make a squeel but his is more of a smooth screech or a high pitched howl. It's weird he can add strength and vibro to his ghostly inhales. But again don't atempt it if you want to preserve your voice.

I'm not talking about the solo by inhaling, the Chino's way, man. I can do this sound with these effects without any problem. I'm talking about the REAL stuff, by Rodleen, with all these super high notes. It's hard to believe, but I did once pull off the full thing. And believe me, I couldn't even believe it. Still, the Chino-inhaling way is pretty easy.

oh ok I get ya. though his way sounds the same even without effects on his voice. The control he uses is all his on technique. the reverb and all the electronics just make everything echo or repeat but they aren't an actual vocal fix like a vocoder. His range and partiular style are his raw sound. But yeah her way has to be tough as hell. I'm not sure if rodleen is just using inhales. I think she naturally just can reach that high through conventional means. She has a very unique voice.

Haha, man, don't get me wrong, I see you as a smart guy but you don't get me, here. I of course know that Rodleen's solo is a real exhaling solo, not a somelike inhaling impersonnation like Chino does. And that's the point I wanna get you on: I have made that solo, this superb bunch of high notes with female screamings. ^^

Don't worry I got what you mean. You explained that you were able to do it her way with a feminine like voice. I believe you though because I did something simular a few times without doing it the Chino way. But what I mean is that either one would screw most peoples throats up after a while. Unless your the next Mike Patton or Geoff Tate the don't attempt it. You will definetly run the risk of some major damage.

though if you ever feel you can do it the Rodleen way then please record it. It would be awesome to hear it if your voice ever comes around to it again. Hopefully you have one of those rare good moments. And what effects program do you use that can allow you to do a Chino like Inhale? Or could you record yourself doing it his way?

For the Rodleen way, I don't think it will happen again. Not right now, anyway. And for the Chino spooky inhalings, I could do it, but not right now, 'cause, first, it's 5am around here, and then, I've got a fuckin' sore throat. Maybe in a week. I don't use any program, I work enough on my voice.

No prob, dude. By the way, tomorrow I'll upload a live of digital bath from 2003. Chino couldn't hit the high " FEEL LIKE MOOORE "'s, so he replaced the high notes by the same kind of spooky inhalings. I hope you'll look at this to see what you think about it. Personally, I think it's not as impressive as the high notes, but those inhalings give the song an even darker side, pretty sweet to hear. You'll know what I mean when you look it.

Ok cool man I would love to hear it. I think I'm most likely gonna agree with you that the high notes are better suited for the song then a high pitch wail. But that would be cool to hear. Thanks for the heads up.
