@abcde3487 Afternoon. That note (I reckon) needs to be written as D# as it slips into a D#7dim there. Good point, and I can't have it both ways, can I? I've had this heated flat/sharp discussion over many pints with various people. Then you speak to a jazz saxophonist about it and you suddenly want to be a road mender or a postman or anything outdoors and uninvolved with flattened ninths and 13/8 time.
It's a D# for me, though. Either way, the note needs desperately not to be an E.
Evening, old bean... pardon me weeing casually on your bonfire but that first E on your D string 14th fret wants to be an E flat. It really does. So badly, bless it
Another thank you great playing Im gonna have a go not that I'm any good I might be trying to jump before I can walk, although Iv nearly nailed Steve Hacketts Horizons .
What would you like to know exactly? Melody or Chords?
(see below ; Backing chords are Gmaj7 / Am7 / D9 / E/ E7)
Melody starts on the G string, 12 fret, B string 12 fret, G string 12 fret, B string 13 fret, G string 12 fret, B string 14 fret, G string 12 fret, B string 15 fret, the rest of the melody is played around the Gmaj / Am scale at the 10th and 12th position.
You are a master! I love listening to all your vids.
Prof Wilf Lunn would be proud. I don't suppose you'd consider a "how to" vid??? I'm desperate to play this... I mastered Trumpton bandstand... but this is a party piece I want to play... even the opener would start me off..
I don't have TAB, but you could work it out yourself, it is not that difficult, just the same loop all based on the Gmaj scale with a few grace / passing notes which creates subtle differences each time (3 in all).
Backing chords are Gmaj7 / Am7 / D9 / E/ E7, just move the base around a bit to suit the melody.
Awesome! Discovered your videos googling for the tab to Vision On Gallery Theme/Leftbank2 after seeing newsclips following the sad death of Tony Hart at the weekend (sniff). Interestingly, I guess I'm from the same generation as you and my favourite finger warm-up is Andante in C by Mauro Giuliani best known, of course, as the theme to Tales of the Riverbank (aka Hammy Hamster). Keep up the good work! BTW Do you know if Leftbank2 & Trumpton are available online as score or tab :-) Thanks again.

Great version of the old 'Gallery' music - it's like a track from a Chet Atkins LP.
