I now have great doubt anyone has a copy or an flv copy stashed somewhere of the original Lifeline playthrough... Well, at least I still have take 2 in my external HDD.

And yet, you can't find the full thing anymore. It used to be archived on Livestream under Deepgames, but since the account is frozen you can't see all the videos again.

BigBangBlitz' site has four flv videos available, but they're not the same original 4-6 videos. For one part, the part where they play around with Rio's confusion on Molotov is shorter. I wonder if he'll ever put back the original take somewhere...

When you finally found out how to skip cutscenes... At the end of the game. I for one can't wait to show my friends, honestly you're the best Let's Play Lifeline I've seen out there, so I found it quite a shame that they weren't available.

... oh and... that one bit where Rio actually started moving on her own while you weren't around and your co-commentators were... commenting.

@BigBangBlitz Oh yikes... I'm not sure why, but the videos seems to be around 700bytes each. Server issue, try later or did they upload wrong?

There was definetly a problem. The problem was "oops I don't understand the internet".

I changed the files to .flv, no left clicking on them begins a download instead of just watching in the browser, I'll make real pages with players and such later when I redesign everything.

One hiccup. There seems to be a video missing that transitions between Lifeline2 part 1 and Lifeline2 part 2.

Yeah I played through the game again offstream since I didn't have a chance to progress with no heals leftover and started there onstream. That part got corrupted I think, livestream was really bad with video recording at the time. The details of the order of the videos i'm pretty foggy on, exactly where one segment should end and the other should begin i'm not sure.

Suffice to say you're not missing much. I remember a lot of deaths in a dark storage area.

@BigBangBlitz I think the only scene of note that's missing is a retake on the whole "Molotov Cocktail" scene.

I remember a lot of joking and at least a dozen more weapons having been suggested with, of course, Rio misinterpreting at least half of them.

And maybe some story element, but I think most people tend to forget about the story after the first two hours. if not the first hour.

By the way, i take it you're back into LPing/Streaming?

This game is incredible! It's just like real life. You tell a woman what to do and she does something completely different or doesn't understand what you said at all! And if by chance you mutter some profanity or something mildly sexual, you better believe she heard every word and will comes down on your self esteem like a steam roller.

Absolutely incredible that they have made such a realistic experience. My wife would be extremely jealous if I brought that home.

It's actually a really good game, it just gets marred by the technology it relies on. It's really solid otherwise and certainly worth trying. It's an atypical experience that doesn't follow established conventions, and suffers for it.

Also Rio is a stupid whore.

@Goblintom i played the game and beat it and believe me, it will pull on your heart in the end either a little or alot depending on your relationship status and the things that have happenedto you in life like me for example, my brother died when i was 6 and he was 4, i woke up during the accident and saw him dying, i tried to reach out but the pain was so great that i passed out. and i'm also single and if u do play the game you'll feel a sort of sadness at the end as well as happiness :)
