can remember a game like this for the sega, dif game i think it came in a cartridge that had 2 games on it one was the game im talking about and other i cant remember think was some sports game, all i can remember is that you got to chose from like 4 planets to go to games name escapes me tho if anyone can remember please do say xD
Josh-Damn! Thanks for this video man my all time favorite SCHMUP...
I played this game to death when I was a little boy I could never get past the second stage haha. Well I kind of replayed it a month ago and beat it on hard... But whatever.
This is also one of the few games of wich I do enjoy the soundtrack.
Wow, a lot of similarities indeed! Bosses 3 and 4 look like redesigned enemies from Thunder Force III. The most hilarious thing though is "Out Of Danger". Usually that means you are in the clear, not that a space station crashes nearby. =P
Wow... I know the final bosses arent supposed to be a challenge (something I've never understood, whats the point?) but this one was just... lol. You literally just sit directly in front of it and fire like mad without getting hit? Seriously? What horrible design, haha.
thats still horrible design, IMO. they should anticipate people doing any number of stupid things, and design it based on that. maybe they just dont give a fuck, since it was the final boss, which is never hard, yknow? i think thats more likely. some bosses literally die as soon as you roll into the room, afterall.
oh yeah, throw that one out there, real original, lmao. i was referring to gradius/salamander games and the like. everyone on the internet has seen that thing. arcade bullshit, lol. anyway im done talking to you. bye forever :D
That stage 5b reminded me of something from Mario Bros 3.
And of course, the final level is the "living" one. It's like required by law that these kinds of games have at least one of those, right? XP The music for that level sounds really familiar for some reason......
I love this game.

This looks and sounds more like a Master System game that got delayed and ported rather than a launch title for the Mega Drive...

I think they were trying to make a challenge. Maybe they assumed that anyone trying to fight it would stay away from the middle?

Ooh that's one badass soundtrack, gonna have to find it.
I think the mecha looks so familiar because it is a completely generic mecha design that shows up in eeeverything.

Gundam Wing? Voltron?
Oh, and I'm talking about the mecha design.

Seems more like Macross to me. Particularly during the ending screen, the head anyway.
ACESpark 2 years ago
Mm yeah, I thought Gundam Wing at first, but it also kinda looks like the Probotector's head on the box for Super Probotector.
