@1968kpk Wow...I've always liked this track on "Get Shorty" ..and often though, "Gee...it sounds like Jimmy Smith" and have even commented that I'd love to have heard Jimmy Smith play on this track. Someone had a lot a balls to jack a Jimmy Smith tune and use it for this film. I checked your link. to that CD and "Funky Broadway". Thanks for the info. Jimmy Smith rules !!

i had the soundtrack score from somewhere's and i found this track on it, so i always thought it was John Laurie who did this. I never really pay attention to the band soundtracks, always bolted for the film composers.
