I'd give her a pass on this. She majored in computer science with a minor in economics. Looks like a non-scandal.

Some liberal blog was whining about how it was fixed and how this was a media hit job. 1. It wasn't a media hit job, nothing was fabricated, if anything Burner put herself in that position. 2. I'm so sick of both the extreme nutjobs on the left and right always saying it was rigged or whatever. Just admit you LOST, fair and square. Don't "blame the refs" as it were.

No website controlled by Dave or in any interview or in any campaign material has Dave ever claimed a BA or BS.

Darcy, meanwhile, did grossly mistate facts regarding her few years at Microsoft and her degree in economics (and that she has used this degree for 15 years? She graduated in 1996...it is now 2008, now, I don't have a degree in economics from Harvard, but with my Sammamish HS math, that is only 12 years...)

Darcy continues to spin this in circles while her own spokesman professor Harry Lewis in HARVARD'S OWN NEWSPAPER the Crimson admits - she does not have an economics degree.

Obviously you don't understand how Harvard works. It doesn't offer dual-degree programs; what Darcy completed was the equivalent of a joint degree in computer science and economics. Reichert and his buddies at the Seattle Times are just spinning Harvard's idiosyncratic terminology into a fake scandal -- because they'd rather talk about nonsense like this than the black hole Republicans have turned our economy into. They're running scared!

Read the Seattle Times front page article 10-24-08. Darcy Burner has pathetically tried to spin this on Reichert. Even a liberal publication such as the Seattle Times won't spin it that far.
