You are so definite perhaps emphasize that 'Filling out this short survey will help us understand each other better' and how will the Survey results be shown I assume those with a faith would not be ridiculed.

I would like people feel comfortable with the fact that this is merely a fact-finding mission, and results will not become any sort of anti-anything propaganda. We tried to recruit some theists to help write the survey and guarantee the questions were not biased, but none of our YT theist friends were interested. We will do our best to read the information from as scientific and objective standpoint as possible. Please PM me if you have any specific concerns I'm happy to discuss this more.

I filled it out. There were some limitations - for example i discuss religion to challenge myself. Also -I am an atheist who has a religion - yes that is possible (at least it is for me). I also have learned some good things from people of faith (yes - that has also been possible for me). Are there other YT atheists who feel this way?

My only concern with religion involves how much blood is shed, how many lives are ruined and wasted, for ideas that don't hold up to even a moments contemplation. Belief in things like a deity, the bible, the rapture--silly superstitions like these have a very real effect on prejudice, war, environmental legislation, and it is almost always an adverse one.
