Have you tried a 17" MBP with the glossy panel? How do the colour quality, white/black level(s), image sharpness and the viewing angles compare to it and the anti glare option?
G'day mate. Great video. Really demonstrates what that computer is capable of. I'm selling my old MacBook Pro for a new 17" and saw this video after searching for test shots with the machine.
How did you get that type of RAM inside a MacBook? I thought it only accepted Apple-made RAM and only clocked at 1,233Mhz?
Also, how do you think this machine would run GTA IV?
@Bananas138 The 15" (What I have) and the 17" can have Anti-Glare which provides aluminum slides. Colors wash out when not having the screen at the right angle but I think it is worth it if you work in a sunny environment a lot.
dude, could you go to run and type dxdiag and under display tell me your approx.total memory as i have the exact same specs with all bootcamp drivers installed but it still says 707mb

thanks for the great video and settings ! But i have a problem, with your settings and with my macbook pro 2.2 15'' 1440x900 i get only average 29 fps in the benchmark test and lowest is 22fps. Are the lower results caused of that that you have faster, and more RAM memory?
I actually saw an AG Macbook Pro today at my work for the first time. The colors look much better than you'd imagine. Basically, there is a little bit less "perceived" darkness of the black levels, but I've heard that shadow detail is actually better on the anti-glare (i.e. when you're looking at someone with dark brown hair in a video you can actually see the highlights and shadows).

AnUnlikelySource 7 months ago
@AnUnlikelySource it gets extremely hot but never to the point where it turns off.
TechAndMore101 7 months ago
@TechAndMore101 Its going to get hotter to the touch because its aluminum, and ive also noticed it runs warmer in windows than OSX

@TechAndMore101 How do you enable sound for Bootcamp? The only way I can hear the sounds is by using headphones. :(

@S33DARTH
No problem...
I also have the MBP 17". The 6750m seems a bit too weak for intensive 3d games.
Especially considering my desktop PC gets average 147 fps under the same max setting as his first trial.
Even with multisampling at max I get about 97 fps.
