  • Actually, excuse my mistake, but noriega did not push for agrarian reform. Still he was ushered into office by us. He was formerly on the cia payroll, and therefore expected to continue playing on our side. When he did not take the expected stance on a few key issues he was demonized, so that american public would consent to his removal.

  • This is propaganda. Check your facts. U.S. Invasion of panama was due to noriega not playing ball with america. He wanted to retain control of the canal that had been forced upon his country, was in negotiations with japan to construct a more state of the art sea level canal (instead of the loch system which the largest ships cannot pass), he wanted agrarian reform, and he wanted removal of us military bases. You are encouraged to investigate everything I've said.

  • I was there at the naval base not far from Howard AFB when this all went down and it was surreal

  • Cowardsssssssssssssssssssssssss. Invasion was cruel. Assassinssssssssss.

  • Americans assassingsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Go to HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.

  • about the attack of the ragers to the rio hato airbase.that used to be a military school. rio hato its about hour and half from the city. there was a big fight right there. acctually one of the noriega's nicest houses were nearby the airbase..if u have anything like that or anything else from the interior of the coutry i would appreiate if u post something..if not its just fine..all the videos u posted before are images not seen before downhere....thanks a bunch

  • It is real hard to sort out the many hours of Panama footage, and in different formats it would take me weeks to sort it out just because I don't have the video equipment to view it all, M2 format, BetaSP SVhs, 3/4 tapes Hi8mm. I will eventually get around to posting all on you-tube. What in particular are you looking for certain incident???

  • @1869eases hi there, i wish to know if there`s anything from rio hato either night or during day films. thank`s

  • @1869 put all the footage!, it will be awesome to see old footage of just cause. Cheers

  • exelet videos!!!!!!!!xcuseme...do u have any video of the operation just cause from rio hato????????

  • I was there what can I said it was duty US army fort clayton, panama 1988- 1991

  • Dignity Battalion, my foot....these guy were armed with East German weapons that came in from Fidel Castro. If you want I will post that footage of the weapons discovered hidden. Personally I thought the footage was boring and it not informative. They looting stores for food and TV's. Panama has NO stores that sell full Automatic AK-47 and Light AntiTank rocket weapon system from East Germany. The only Panamanian stores back then were hunting stores they sold 22Cal. rifles and 12Ga shotguns

  • You start your video saying "the batallion 2000..." that's wrong; in fact that 's the Dignity Batallion, formed by public employees and outlaws who were supossed to be the last line of defense. Many of them used their weapons for looting stores at Panama City, The Batallion 2000 were elite military men, who wore uniforms just like yours, They were being trained to take over the Panama Canal security in the year 2000 and were destroyed from the air on their way to Panama city by the Specter.

  • LOL "cut throats of all the gringos". Dude you don´t even know what the painting is all about. It´s from a historical event from the Gold Rush era. About what else?. More abuses from gringos who went to Panama killing people and refusing to pay for their watermelon slice. How rare of them

  • @tromboista Well, let me make a correction. They were not American Gringos, they were French Frogs, but the images stand as a symbol of Mestizos (natives) killing anglos (Europeans) This painting sets the mood of racial oppression. It's wrong.

  • @1869eases and invading armor running over civilians don´t set the mood of racial oppression? "Europeans" killing civilians in another Country and burying them in mass graves, and denying it is not wrong? It´s wonderful

  • @tromboista No, about 45 percent of U.S. Army soldiers are black, 20 percent Hispanic, 5 percent other than white, with a Hispanic General Cisneros running the war, oh he's Mexican. This is the Army that invaded your country, pretty a melting pot of United States Society. Please shed some light on your claim. I would really like to know more. Thank you for your response.

  • "Surgical strikes" wiping out an entire neighborhood filled with civilians and rolling tanks over cars with people in them. Nice Cause

  • @tromboista Those surgical strike were the first demonstration of the F117 Stealth Fighter (highly secret back then, and now obsolete, out of military service today) The F117 dropped on bomb on the Comandancia, and missed it target. The explosion that you see in the night video is the bomb going off, dropped from the F117. But don't forget that colonia neighborhood next to the Comandancia Houses made to of tar paper roof material, like a roof tile, very flamable (bass trombone)

  • Tromboista, The Nightslaker dropped 2000 pound bombs on Rio Hato prior to the Rangers hitting silk. Damage incurred at the Commandancia was by Spectre and a few Sheridans that the 82nd snuck into the country prior to the invasion.

  • @tromboista I'm from El Chorrillo, I can talk about the strike on la Comandancia because I WAS THERE . The fire was caused by collateral damage at the Old wooden Barraca de calle 25, but the strike was surgical and quite accurate. if it wasn't, Tell me why Renta 2 next to la Comandancia, Neco de la Guardia Gym, right in front, and Penonomé building at 30 m away weren't hit? I live at a 150m from there and my building wasn´t hit. Please stop lying, because you weren't there.

  • Look we have a class in High school called Relations between panama and the usa... is not blind stupid hate, is history that you don't know anything about. We were happy looking forward to Christmas, we had a new president, democracy was finally going to function, but it it didn't work for the bush admin. I'm sorry you have been brainwashed but what you were a part of was nothing short than an Illegal Invasion and Mass Murder. I was 11 when the sound of unnecessary murder woke me up at 12:11 am

  • I love US. Delivering these low lives in Panama from a dictator. All Panamanians should thank us for what they have today, because it would still be Noriega rule if we have not intervened.

  • @HowYaDoingMon ignorance is bliss.

  • @HowYaDoingMon We don't have to thank you for Anything, because you imposed and supported the dictatorship for 19 years, sold them weapons and trained them. But once it wasn't good for your strategical interest, you decided to destroy the monster you created and fed. In short you just came to pick the trash you left in our backyard, back home. So you didn't save us from anything, but from your own Imperialism. What we have now is the product of having a nation without foreign troops.

  • Why not stop there about your statement about USA. Don't forget, for 300 YEARS......... The Spanish had GLUE, SCREWED, and TATOO all of Latin America and their people. Thank GOD, the Spaniards did not have a chance to mess with the USA or we would be in the same boat as our partners to the South.

  • I hate USA. Americans invaded my country becaus USA wanted to save Panamenians from NORIEGA,but that was not truth.

I wander why USA doesn't save us from MARTINELLI'S CORRUPTION. Actually, 36% Panamenias ARE POOR,RICH PEOPLE ARE MOR RICH.

NORIEGA WAS BAD,BUT USA IS A MOUNSTER, EVIL.

  • I would say no. Back then, the U.S. Military was designed or trained to fight the Communist forces in Europe. In 1990, the U.S. Army was redesigning itself for warfare in the middle East. Sure we had practice, like operation Bright Star in Egypt, but it was nowhere to the reality of the beginning of the Gulf War. The troops we sent to Saudi Arabia still wearing camouflage green for a European war. Our Army were basically speed bumps for Saddam's Iraqi Army in 1990.

  • @1869eases yeah! never-mind all of the people that died and all of the property damaged in "practice"...really people? commmoooonnn we are better than this... I hope. Is it not Clear enough that we are all being used???? if you have to ask how or why or by who then...*sigh* I'm lost in a sea of ignorance and inability to research in the age of information which btw is in Jeopardy(notthetvshow)

  • I was in 7th grade when this occurred. Apart from getting Noriega, I wondered if this was a dress rehearsal from Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

  • Thanks for the video, Glen. Even though I was with 7th ID that brought a lot of memories. Lot of standing around waiting, Spector gunships, glint tape on helmet, NVGs...
