I love the Shire, but only have the time or need to go there during the Halloween event (Harvestmath I think it's called)... I wish there was more content there for lvl 65+
@sobolev499 Dude, this is a song from a place called the Shire. which is in lord of the rings. i used to play WoW so ik wat im talking about. this isnt WoW, this is lord of the rings
Theme song of Bondook Saints,,,one of the collest films in my opinion...tho it has nothing to do with The Shire...it sounded a bit off for me,,,as I watched the film a few times...it just doesnt match with lotr
@TrancoTechnizer it´s very easy! It not even has something to do with the film Bondook Saints!
It´s from a band that made this as a remember of time...when you heard bard´s that sung from big hero´s!
When i´m right....(i don´t exactly remember the name of the song)...is "The Blood of chuchullain" or something like this! The name of the band....don´t know xD
But i hope i could simply help everybody who search´s for the song!
Gorgeous. A friend posted this on FB after we were talking about a real world sustainable community template project done through the HELMS non-profit eco education group that is called SCCAP officially but is referred to as "Hobbitat for Humanity".
Do you know if it would be possible to simulate such a village and do a video of it using the methods they used here?
The village also centers around a biofuel system known as ORB that also looks like a hobbit house from outside.
I appreciate your effort to create a nice Machinima in Lotro, but after copying literaly every camera angle and trick I used, you could have at least mentioned an "Inspired by Bain Ennorath" in your credits... ;)
@NeonNewversion Yes. But if you wish to progress beyond lvl 45 and get a lot more quests and other goodies then you need to both subscribe and buy the epansions. However, all expansions can be brought via amazon and gametime cards can be brought over the net =)
The music and video works together perfectly. I´ve never heard of this song, its really great! It´s like this song was made to picture the shire. Great job on the video!
It may be a bit foolish but the peace of the Shire is very nice after being in some other zones. Which is why I bought a house there; just for the landscape and sense of contentment. All of which are well captured here.
I am strongly considering using my game box I got a few months back in the bargain bin at target. If I did is there anyone who would be willing to level some with me? I have no desire to play another game alone. It has become the norm for me since I am the only person whom seems to have no desire to play WoW.
Also a friend has offered me a bunch of 60 day time cards he never used for $8.50 a piece. That helps.
Fantastic work! I love the Shire, Turbine did a great job creating it, and you did a great job capturing it in a video. And I love the fact that the song you use is the same one from the Boondock Saints opening credits. Great stuff man.
Excellent video. My favorite part was the time-elapsed night to day sequence. It just captures the true essence of the game's artistic look and design. There's another vid on youtube with a similar shot over Lake Evendim that I like just as much.
Thanks for making this video! - Mardoin, Guardian of Elendilmir
Superb!! I am thouroughly impressed by the exquisate scenery that you were able to capture in this video! I hope that you make more videos like this in the future! :)
The music was a good choice to accompany the landscapes and a lot of the scenes were finely chosen (my favorite was the water mill on the river at sunset) but could have used a little more drama from the hobbits. Fence running was the most interesting thing they were up to, and I think that proves my point. A glorified slide show, but a slide show none-the-less. Shame this game moves so quickly much of the rich scenery goes to waste.
whats this song? amazing choice to simply very good vid!!! really hate how I can't play the game atm is untra high cos of so many players in the end-game places :P really hope to see more of this place if they follow on the mount deed stuff. ganna go here on all my hobbit chars and do it instantly :D

Hi CerebralSync, a friend of mine made a vid which is looking very similar to your one. I dont know if it is a coincidence but he also used the soundtrack "The blood of Chu Chulainn" and the cameramovement ist also nearly equal and he loaded up his film FIRST!
Here, watch this out:
"Lord of the Rings Online - Middle-earth" by Davos1982
You also made a good movie which expresses the entire beauty of middelearth but you didnt create this without inspiration i bet ;)

Fantastic! Music selection was perfect, and went along perfectly with this wonderful video. I'll be sharing this on FB for all my friends who I'm trying to pull away from other games. :)
I really like this song to the vid. :) I think I heard it before...isn't from the Boondock Saints? Also, what a beautiful depiction of the Shire in LOTRO!
Loved it all except for the sped up sunrise, because it too clearly showed off the oddness of celestial motion in the game. Otherwise, great work, and very fitting music.
/bow that was absolutely beautiful..thanks for the hard work..I've been playing for over 2 years and this reminds me why I fell in love with this game..Thanks again!!
Nice video, Shire has always been the best area in Lotro. Sometimes, I can spend ours wandering around in it, looking at flowers, grass, bushes trees and other amazing parts of the scenery. Music fits perfect by the way :)
Absolutely fantastic video! Great music, and my favourite shot has to be at 1:55, just breathtaking. Of course, the time-lapse sequence starting at 2:15 is great as well! Great video!
@ CerebralSync - I hate you... You make me want to play LOTRO again. Reminds me when i played it, and spent more time wandering around the Shire rather than leveling :)

For those asking, the song is called The Blood of Cu Chulainn, and it was in both Boondock Saints movies.
