Somehow the benefit of the batarangs was not obvious. As far as I remember right, the batarangs did not hurt the foes at all.

The avgn knocked on this game, but I think it actually looks really fun. I know the NES version has Batman using a gun type weapon, which I dont understand. Why didnt they make that one like this one? With the wall kick, the punching, and the weapons.

Sure, Return of the Joker on GB was difficult, but it wasn't impossible. In fact, I kinda like it. It frustrates the hell out of me but I like it!

This was a really great game. Not impossible either. Just fun, though short. The "hard" setting was actually quite challenging. Come to think of it, I don't think I beat the Joker on that setting.

Good times, too bad I sold this for some ridiculously low price at FuncoLand ages ago.

yea this game is great. The control is smooth, and the music is awesome, though it can be a little bit hard for some gamers, as you can only "continue" 5 times. As for the boss fights, they can be pretty challenging on hard mode. This game is definitely worth playing if you like action games.

Thanks man, I've heard elsewhere the controls were horrible so I was not sure about this one. It looks like an overlooked Batman game, definitively better than all the Batman games for both the GBC and GBA if you ask me.

I just hope the game is not too tough and impossible to finish like Batman : The Animated Series GB is (because NO Continue and only three damn lives :/).

When you say "five times" , the game has no password feature ? You have to play the whole level again and again ?

The game does not have a password feature unfortunately, its probably because it is not a long game (only 4 stages). The 5 continues is like 5 lives, once they are used up. You'll have to start over again. This game is pretty hard, but it is finishable. Don't worry~

I have only played 3 batman games, this one and 2 for the gba. So i can't say it's the best batman game, but it has to be one of the best (i found it much more enjoyable than the 2 on gba), i'm glad that i picked this up on ebay.

How do you rate it out of 10 ? How do you rate the two gba batman you've played too ? Your playthrought shows you totally destroying each boss way too easily...I do hope they offer a REAL challenge when you don't know the game perfectly like you ! :)

Nice vid. I've wanted to see this game in action played by someone who could PLAY it... since the AVGN slagged it it's been on the "let's play games we suck at and trash them list." Heck, I think this game looks and sounds damn good for a original Game Boy game. I'd like to check it out someday!
