Did they tune it for you with a power commander or was it just installed and thats it? I have the same bike with a Jardine and PC3 and i get much lower #'s.
I'm torn here, really I am, no offence to LeoVince intended but I really love that little bubble on the TBR's dyno curve from idle to just over 3K, looks perfect for street riding, tho from the clips I'd say the LV sounds better to me... Guess I'll get Arno from Knee-Draggers on the phone & see if he has anything on a bike I can actually put my ear to... Time to pull the thumb out & buy I guess :)
TBR makes a good mid level pipe in terms of quality of construction and materials used they're good tuners as well. For quality of materials and construction however the only real competition for LeoVince is Akrapovic. REAL carbon fiber, CP1 Grade 4 Ti welded in oxygen free chamber, that's something TBR doesn't do. That particular system is tuned for smoother midrange and higher top end power. Makes it easier to ride fast!
It was our Factory Ti Muffler / Stainless header set-up. This is the same pipe we won over 100 club classes with last year and over 20 overall championships with. Great price awesome exhaust.
Heh Heh, touche 2bros. You're right, it doesn't sound like a 2bros pipe...we're more interested in smooth performance than making noise. First beer's on me at Indy bro.
Power numbers vary from Dyno to Dyno...even day to day. What matters most in the comparison between stock and the overall smoothness of the powercurve.
Thanks for the reply from the other day. I will call to get some numbers. Now, what about just the slip-on? I see that the curves on this dyno is with a full system. Is there any difference at all just with the slip-on?
All the midrange smoothing and broadening of the power band comes from the pipe. The customer wanted PC III thrown on but it really only helped way up top...and our tuner used to work for Power Commander so he knows how to get it right.
NICE! I just ordered my Leo Vince! I got a slip on but I'll eventually go to a full! What brand are your frame sliders???

PC III USB? Did you map the bike or just install the system?

Two questions.
1) If this is not the "Corsa" pipe then why does the dyno say "Corsa"?
2) Has this bike had a Z-Bomb or the like installed between the dyno sessions as well?

@WormBusa
Hi,
We put the Corsa MAP on this bike as the headers are virtually identical on the Corsa and the Factory system for this particular bike.

If that were the case, the LV would put down 173! LOL

You must have installed the Bazzaz Z-bomb after the base run. What else was on the bike? PC III USB? Did you map the bike or just install the system?

I was going to say the same thing.
Its a bit deceiving but oblivious to to the ignorant.
Please post a dyno comparison with the same variables except for the different exhaust so we can see the true ( closest) power gain.

While 161 hp is obviously very impressive, I'm absolutelty FLOORED by that curve!! It looks perfect! Money VERY well spent. Damned impressive...
