Any guesses why they stopped selling the exact same projector with less contrast ratio aka Toshiba TDP-ET10?

Because it was too good for only 500 dollars.

This TDP-ET20 will cost you 3 times as much.

I don't get it, can someone please explain, it says 586 x 480 resolution and the projector is a 1080i =S doesn't 1080i means that it's a 1920 x 1080 ?

568x480? Try 854x480. It's 16:9.

Great projector, D.L.P is certainly really innovative. Picture is brilliant, love the experience!
