It really is jarring to go from David Tennant's Doctor, who is this kind and compassionate supporter of humanity, back to Hartnell's Doctor who is essentially an old arrogant jerk who thinks humanity is little more then ants. Personally I think Hartnell is better and is undoubtedly the best Doctor.
