I actually think, NCSoft was scared that Tera will gain more success (no wonder, Tera's devs are the original devs of Lineage 2... shame on NC...)

So I think, NC has urged the release of Aion, and that's why it feels like and looks like, it ain't finished... but hopefully 2.5 will change all this... however I'm not planning to go back to Aion before 3.0 comes out...

until then... I'll stick with EVE XD

What about Tera? well it looks okay, but... I don't like the char customication...

Well, it's Unreal Engine 3, you should run the game properly even on "not so great" PCs. I'm looking forward of trying this game, but I must admit I don't have much hopes for it. It feels somehow... a tastless korean view of the fantasy scenario with just a similar third person shooter gamplay style. I sincerely hope i'm wrong thou...

I´m worried about two things: 1) How well will it run in not so great PCs. And 2) I haven't seen in any video any racial gender option, all i see its female high elfs, males humans, etc. You cant do a male high elf or a human female?

Yes and No. It's originally Korean however it is being localized to western audiences (USA and EU) and even Japan currently late 2010 (Dec 2010 last I heard) though rumors have it at Q1 2011 for US release.

Aion uses a cheap engine.... the graphics for the characters might be somewhat decent but the textures of the ground and what not are horrible in many spots. Also the engine is bugged to hell on Aion. This game had totally different gameplay than Aion, you can tell by the vids and other stuff. greenbrad just shush about it.

Is that so? It looks nothing like Aion to me; then again I was disappointed with Aion's graphics in comparison to the videos and screen shots I saw. That may count as slightly bias as I was expecting too much and may not see the "good graphics" others go on about.

In any case, Tera's graphics looks much smoother and polished to me on just about every level of detail.

I'd have to say Aion has better graphics now. Well actually I don't know, they did a total conversion to all the visual qualities of the game. The animations seem good

I never said the gameplay was the same I said it looks like Aion.. the korean style MMO.. that's exactly what this game looks like because that's exactly what this game is. I never said it was bad, don't get offended.

@RPGOmen imo graphics shouldnt be something beyond anythign we ever saw... specialy for mmos becouse if that is so u need a hell of a computer to be able to do anything in mass battles. i know for aion i played it and the siedges were sh1t on lowest of details u still couldnt do sh1t and my comp isnt all that bad

i play C9 and i can tell you guys that C9 dont have an open world to explore. Tera appears to have great world graphics but C9 is better in character graphics, but still good in world graphics too.

Tera has a lot more coming with characters like the Popori, Aman, Castanics, and Barak. This gives the people a variety to choose from which is more interesting. I think Tera blows C9 out the water.
