@bigmalcolm18 No, he didnt make it into Forever Red due to Steve Cardenas having relocated, and the company being unable to contact him. He was set to be the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger, but since he couldn't be contacted, they had to get John St. Austin to fill the spot.
@supremeracer Though don't forget that this was the last time that they would morph with dinosaur calls, and the last time that they used this particular morph sequence. They lost their powers soon after this, and so the next time they morphed, they said "[Color] Ranger power!" with the ninja powers.
@pfliegerz Everyone did. When the shifted the morpher to their right shoulder then to the left, they were standing in a row. When they pushed the morpher forward, they were standing in a pyramid formation. HUH.
People don't get it's special because it's one of the few times in MMPR they get the "RIGHT" motions for morphing (see zyuranger henshin) instead of putting their hands in their back.
fucking love this shit, sorry for swearing, but jason says 'morphin time' da best, and I prefer original call of kim's and billy's but i like tommy's tigerzord call and aisha's sabre-toot tiger call, i dont have anything negative to say about adam and rocky, i just prefer my manz jase and zackman.
No, because it all goes in one fluid motion. They're all standing in a straight line next to each other, the camera angle switches, they're in a pyramid formation, but the morph action has been cut off at all.
No he is right if you look at it again when they start to morph they're standing in a straight line but just before it cuts into the morph itself they're in a pyramid stance.
This has happened alot in power rangers when they go to morph, especially in operation overdrive.
I always found the colour-coordinated vests during the morph sequences a bit tacky, but then filming a bunch of separate morphs with "accurate" clothing woulda been too accurate so I guess that was enough :P
I liked how future seasons started giving them uniforms in unmorphed forms to get round that.
Don't go by openings. Season 3 started with Ep. 113 "A Friend in Need" featuring the Masked Rider (Kamen Rider). This ep is "Ninja Quest, Pt. 1" which is the fourth Ep. of Season 3.
okay, then i figured that it was when bulk and skull became cops. Because i thought season 1 became season 2 when bulk and skull chased the rangers. I get it.
Season 2 started with Ep. 61 "The Mutiny". But anyway, Bulk and Skull didn't become Policemen until the end of "Ninja Quest, Pt. 4" where they already switched the openings. Besides, this episode where they morph is where the Tiger and Thunder zords were destroyed.
That's one the hottest morph postures I've seen for Kim.

It's always nice when the morphers are shown pre-morph instead of just in the morphing sequence.

It's special because it's one of the rare times, on film you actually see the morphers taken out.
BUDDIE03 2 years ago 2
I always loved when they did that; it was, as you say, a special moment, in PR. :-)
I remember in Season 1's "I, Eye Guy" they got in position and actually took their morphers out while the theme was playing; it was awesome. :-D

Wait, at 0:09 they're all standing side by side, then next moment it's all changed. What happened? Mind you, theses things are common in PR...

This is not really "special" because this is how the japanese morphed normally in Zyuranger which is the real deal. Look up the video:
Zyuranger - Transformation
Watch that.

Always remember trying to pull that off when I was little. ~Looks for his morpher~ Its Morphing Time~!

I don't see what's so special; that's the normal motions, just paying more attention to details.
